    FYI, EF seems to be sending virus warnings again.

    I went in, and have the same problem as before. On top of that, I received fake warnings from a baiting tool that reports your system is infacted with all kinds of crap, but that's only trying to get your money.

    I had afk.exe and ave.exe as running processes. Both were in the temporary internet files, along with a whole other bunch of executables and a file called sshnas21.dll. The dll is in use by the OS, just like last time.

    Here's what I did:

    CTRL + ALT + DELETE to bring up the task manager.

    Checked for suspicious names, right-clicked them and selected to open the folder they are in. Killed processed AFK.exe and AVE.exe. Killed RUNDLL32.exe (which releases the DLL). In the folder, I removed all executables and the DLL.

    Running a virusscan now, will reboot when that is done.

    I've had something similar as well with EF. They seem to be prone to this sort of thing at the moment.

    Imo MA should provide proper official ad-free forums with sub-forums for each planet partner.

    I dont get any virus varning! only big lag and very slow.
    every page takes more then 1 min to load lol

    checked it with IE on my virtual PC again and get about 10 warnings from SOPHOS anti virus. With Firefox the site is just very slow. And just to have a bit of fun I changed my signature on EF

    Tbh I would like to hear from some of you oldies, the story behind why MA don't provide official forums. Did they have one earlier? Probably just to save money, no need to hire forum people when they can just visit these different 3rd party forums.

    Nothing against EF or EP, but I just really think every MMO should have proper official forums. In this case, entropiauniverse(dot)com/forums, then sub forums to each Planet Partner.

    so... looks like there is a major problem here!

    Clear your internet files and run a system scan!!

    I recommend that everyone change their password for EU! Even if you have a gold card!

    I heard a rumour that one of the viruses from EF scans for for your Entropia Universe running and grabs your password and other login data like gold card number. Apparently if they get a few of your gold card digits they can in theory crack the code for it to login.

    So the advice is to run a complete system scan get rid of viruses and trojans. Then change your password for EU.

    Yep hit me today but cleared the virus, had a fake virus scanner start up and had to dc network connection and sort from safe mode (XP). This is getting kinda lame on EF with this being the second time it has happened.

    Is all this preventable by 711, as atm i am kinda reluctant to even go to EF anymore after a second infection.
