  1. ComPet Development Update

We are pleased to announce that The Closed Beta has been set for May 17, 8:00 UTC.

In order to ensure that the quality of the game is not compromised, we will not be releasing ComPet to the public on May 10 but will instead be continuing with the QA process. We will send out further information as soon as possible, but for now we would like to assure everyone that all our efforts are focussed on making Compet as good as it can be. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The prices for Compet Deeds will be raised from $10 to $12 per deed. This adjustment will be reflected in the packages sold on the web as of today: https://competgame.com/shop/

  2. Lets raise the price two bucks per deed because we are so amazing we are going to not be able release on time. Yeah...

Yeh... what is with that? Just thrown in there arbitrarily with no explanation or hint of justification. Is this the face of MA coms now? We changed something + no reason given. OK to be true they have been like that for a while but often still seem to have a vague attempt at explanations even if these are farmed out to player(s) (my belief, I have no evidence) now.

I bet auctions will be full of compet deeds, that were bought for 10 ped, now being sold for 11.99 ;)

  5. Your bet rests on the dubious assumption that those who bought CPD were rational people (or became rational people since then) :P

  6. If they are trying to target the "Zynga/Facebook" audience, they will have to allow them to play without depositing. And not tedious sweating or such activities, but letting them raise pets and battle. If they start doing the typical MindArk thing and start raising the cost to play, they will lose these casual players. It could work if they let free players have fun, but also have a space where depositors can get high level. It's classic psychology but I do wish I had bought some at the 10 dollar price.
