But he also claims The General part of forums as his own! ;) Looking forward to some more people begining to post here in a while, i hope? where is all of you? :o
I think having 30+ members in only a few hours is pretty good :D It will come, it will come ;) Untill then, feel free to customize your profile site or sumthing :D
I just added an RSS bot for MindArk News, which should ensure more traffic hitting us soon. As we speak, I'm looking for other planet RSS feeders. It creates a bit of a flood on the frontsite, but that's only right now, due to the startup process. Things ought to balance out in a bit :)
We really need to place the name of the poster above the avatar, looks messed up if the ava is bigger then "tiny" els.
Like about what they got on EF, feels a lot "Less" Here right now, it seems that the info window takes up more space then the acutal post itself. I might be wrong? just felt so.. musty!
Hi Xzion :) I agree with you, it is too wide. We tried another skin in the beginning with a fixed layout - which (after my opinion) looks much nicer. But the skin in itself was not good enough. If you can just have fun for some days playing the arcade :D, I will work on a new skin when we are back from our wedding party in Holland (next week) :D And I promise you, it will be much better :) We had the forum name for quite a while - but seeing of all the things happening, we thought we should get it up now - and then add and replace things the next weeks. It also gives you a great oportunity to say what you wish for (as you already are) and it is highly appriciated :) Thank you :) *ps maybe VF is faster than me and can fix something in the meantime :D
Hehe awesome! Btw, i noticed one more thing; in my profile the chat window is Waaaay to wide, not the acutal chat where u writ, but the place surrounding it makes it impossible to get a nice layout. :( It just feels huge. EntropiaPlanets.com - View Profile: Xzion@@AMEPARAM@@View Profile: Xzion</title>@@AMEPARAM@@Xzion Its that.. big black box in the middle. Not the inside of it, just the size of the box itself that would be great if the size was reduced a bit, like, so it only covers the chat + 0.5 - 1 cm on etch side after the chat box (Where you type and all that has with it to do) ended? I guess, the problem is the general wideness of the whole profile window? It feels like, i dont know, its not just centerd in the middle and i need to move my eyes over all the screen to get a good look at it! Right now its a monster. :p Sounds a lot of nice! :D Well, i will keep adding what i see when i like, stumbel across it, and i will lol :D ^_^ good to know you guys dont mind atleast! hope you got a awesome wedding party!! And this is for sure gonna be a nice forum :D PS; Pictures on the profile; is that possible ?
Thanks Xzion, and as I said, we don't mind at all :D And Shadowsong ... yes, I was talking about mmm the ... forum .. yes
Do i sound really Lazy if i say that i prefer "small neat centred" forums where you dont need to move your eyes over all the screen? Like... insted of :---------------------------------------------------------------------------------: Its like :----------------------: or something... but in the middle of the screen, insted! Hard to make a point when i dont know how to explain xD Suppose its the feeling of that everything is huge. .. ... i dont like huge things .___.! <- thats why im a guy.
Hold on to your heads, everybody. I found a shiny new button, and I just HAVE to press it. So no, nothing wrong with your eyes. See you on the flip side...
If it shines, it was made to be clicked. AND OMG! everything just got so much more nice to read! :D thanks !!! :D
Lykke, is it just me or is the forum still very wide, from one side of the screen to the other? I just need to get corrected if im wrong, becuse i run this on a 32" screen so it feels huge. XD EF is like centerd in the middle in some way, which makes it feel like... "Easy" to operate? Donno... But it looks good with avatars and all now atleast :D
Oops. Hit the wrogn button and ended up editing instead of quoting. Take 2: It's called a fluid versus a fixed style. I've tried experimenting with it in the past, but have to admit it produces mixed results. I can give it a go on here, but cannot promise nothing will fall over. I really should work on setting up a test copy of the forum for experimenting. That, or send the Nun to a vBulletin styling bootcamp
