Nice suggestion Kitty and I support it if the reward is increased at least 10 times ;) ... otherwise would mean huntin 6 days minimum for one click at a Philo sword BP which is kinda exagerate :D However, I ask myself ... why not leave it to loot, just increase the drop rate
Just to elaborate... I said as of EST US.. MA is based on Swedish time. 6 hours ahead of us... The information given was 100 looted yesterday. Taking that into consideration I asked a specific question... with the time different taken into account, what was the last time, and how many since then. As I cannot give an exact number as I was asked not to, there have been hundreds since that point, and the yesterday was logged @ 11:59 pm Swedish time. So... I think there is some hording happening.. but I will press on and try to have this resolved ASAP. Thank you for your patience.
Appreciate your open communication and really to hope you'll get to the end of this fast. If is indeed hoarding, as u suspect, then I wonder if this is not a system weakness ? Someone could hoard such items intentionally to raise their Market Value and gain quite a bit of PEDs from that .... i don't know if would be really market manipulation, but not far from that On the other hand I'd tend to reject the "hoarding" idea, simply because at the MU they currently reached - 50k% , insane !!! - whoever would be hoarding them would try to sell and thus AH woud be filled with listings ... All I know is that in same ammount of hunting time, the day before the VU I had 72 cyclop heads in my inventory - which I burned in crafting almost instantly (as they mean 5 clicks ) and today my inventory only holds 3 heads :( ... so something DID happen and definitely is affecting the economy.
Agree 100%, especially with your 3rd paragraph. I just recently saw that some heads sold for 90,000% today! Also, listings are starting at 50K% and going up to 200K% BO! I'm hoping this is a bug that can be corrected and not hoarding. It would be very worrisome for the economy if such a key manufacturing ingredient could be so quickly choked off and restricted.
I think a lot of it is that they drop so heavy ppl who were visiting looted a bunch put in storage then went back to calypso or ark or whatever
I saw NI planet daily loot on tracker. Big spike today, and it is not just from the big vulcan drake uber. NI is pretty busy these days.
I don't really think you can fight against hoarding as such. At most you can probably make sure there are lucrative buy orders on auction.
Something is definitely not right. Now maybe I'm just really unlucky, but I hunted for hours yesterday morning and again in the evening and saw no Cyclops Heads or Caxo. Also, and I think this is an indication something indeed has changed, I used to get many, many crystals of all kinds over a few hours of Cyclops hunting. Last night over a couple hours I got 4 crystals total. And the 4 I got were not rare by any means. The rest of the loot was just the usual tt trash (mostly Praet and muscle oil.) Before this week even a small Cyclops hunt would yield many crystals of all different kinds. So either everyone has decided to hoard all their crystals all of a sudden (very unlikely) or the loot tables are changed/bugged. This is going to have an affect on AG. I already talked to one frequent AG hunter who dumped all his loots in AH and tt and left. I doubt I'll be doing much hunting either until this gets sorted.
We ARE planning to make some changes to the loot pool in terms of drop rate and frequency, but this is planned for an upcoming release. No one here at Next Island has made any changes to the occurrence of Cyclops Heads since they were added in that 4/11 patch.
My hunting report: Hunted small cyclops with teammate and we looted 3 cacoxenite and 1 cyclops head in 50 ped of tt weapons each. It was our first hunt in AG in several months.
I don't doubt that you guys have not made changes Meg. And everyone appreciates that you guys at NI have been concerned about the issue and have been investigating it and giving feedback. :) I think there is concern though that something has changed at MA's end. Maybe it is a bug that they don't know about either. After all, things like losing maps and revive points come out of nowhere then take a week+ to fix. Same with the space revive bug that keeps showing up and getting "fixed." Whatever it is I'm sure it will get smoothed out, especially if you guys are making changes to loot drop rates and frequencies in the future! Hunt #3 - Teammate and I got 1 minotaur head in 42 ped of tt weapons each on small minotaurs. I know it is not cyclops loot but I think it is the same for minotaur and cyclops.
Hunt #4 - Teammate and I got 0 cacoxenite and 1 cyclops head in 70 ped of tt weapons each on small cyclops. FYI that is two hours of straight hunting.

If we are to keep track ... ;) 266 tt spent, 3 cacox and 1 head 198 tt spent, 5 cacox and 3 heads .... seems a bit random ... tried burn some in craftin then go hunt cyclops - no head dropped :p
