As a player, hunt, mine, craft and participate in the auction with bids and offers. That's already a good start imo.

Yes, keep decaying and sustain a PP trying to sell out ;) ... sometimes i wonder if some simply don't get it or they are more than meets the eye ... like PP employees playing while they shouldn't ... no flaming, just introspection ...

Of course every1 is entitled to his/her opinion ... mine is as follows :
- no devs, no official news ... plenty of room for rumors and chaos
- assuming all we know so far is true (devs fired, PP trying to sell out) this means no updates for the next few months ... at least. No updates -> no new content -> no players coming to NI -> dead economy -> ghost planet like some 1 yr ago
- 20 people and 20+ AH pages are not an economy - at least not in EU

I had high hopes with NI and a lot of peds tied up in its crystals and parts ... liked the place a lot but cannot ignore the obvious. Till a clear official announcement and a way forward is little the player base can do to help ... especially as the question is whom to help ? we cannot develop new content, we cannot play PP role ... just like in any company, no leadership = no company, no matter the employees enthuziasm level ... wish I'm wrong tbh, but this is the way I see it atm :(

Regarding your Q, all I know is that the planet you started on matters, as in PP getting a % of your decay no matter where u r. As for depo time ... idk, honestly I don't think it really matters as depo is processed via MA directly ... maybe they maintain some statistics but I really doubt it does actually matters. Can say I depo while on various planets and it did NOT made a difference - as in I did not see a nice fat HOF in the days after or something like that ... but who knows ? maybe others feel different on the subject :p

 

Just out of curiosity, can you point me to the place that it mentions David is selling out.. I tried to find it but can't seem to place it..

One thing that is known for sure is that MA will take over the planet if David is not able to continue with its development. Or, we can wait untill MA or David comes on and gives us an official reply. Untill then, you can either support the planet or not.

In theory "you can", as does any1 with a bit of game development know-how (is no rocket science ffs - see RT :roflmao:) ... in practice ? Go offer your services to the PP owner (and work for free prolly) or buy a planet from MA and develop your own - then "you can", otherwise "you can't" :D

For sure, but MA is not doing planet side development anymore so most probably they'll look for some1 else to take over the PP role ... and this might take months/years.

Yes, and help saving the doplhins and protect the rain forest while you're at it :roflmao: ... Ask your self what are u supporting ? how ? by decaying and bidding in auction ? ... that's more "help keeping the high MU of my stuff" altough there's no real interest behind it anymore ... pointless discussion anyways

This might very well be. Would it be in MA's best interest to develop the planet some more, then try and sell it?? If of course MA takes the planet back. That will be up to them in the long run.. They may have someone in mind already who knows..

Im supporting the system. Just like I would if I was on any other planet in the universe. How else do you think MA gets their money!? As for the dolphins and the forest, I like them both.. Not sure what you have against them.. Maybe you like tuna better.

There is always something the player can do. Like for instance, come on the forums and ask questions!! Just like what the OP did. We as the players can add our 2 cents and wait and see what becomes of it. Like I said before, you can either support it or not..
