Developer Notes #13 - Loot 2.0 Statistics The MindArk design team has been closely monitoring the impact of Loot 2.0, recently implemented in Version Update 15.15. We have also been following the many interesting and valuable discussions on community forums and thought it would be helpful to those discussions to share some hunting return statistics. Net return for all hunting activity since VU 15.15: 94.71% Net return for hunters cycling at least 100,000 PED since VU 15.15: 97.29% Net return for hunters cycling at least 10,000 PED since VU 15.15: 94.79% Net return for accounts created in 2017, cycling at least 100 PED since VU 15.15: 94.87% Net return for accounts created in 2017: 93.47% These return rates are very close to MindArk’s targets for Loot 2.0, and indicate that the changes implemented are working as intended. Of course, we will continue to monitor, tweak and improve moving forward. Happy hunting! Source All developer notes: Developer Notes
In practice it was much much different, nothing has made me run for the hills like the crap 2.0 threw at me and I'll not be returning. MindArk are in full damage control mode now. Would they have published this 5 years ago?
Well you say this... but after all, a player only has a sample set of one (or maybe a few others), MA literally have all the numbers. I think I can see where they are going with this and TBH I can't help feeling it is a step in the right direction for the new players.
What mean "cycling"? They looted something with MU for sale? How fast they sold loot with MU? Who bought it? Or there were no cycling at all and all loot finished in TT?
Ah a guess I'd say they mean 100ped ammo and you keep converting shrapnel till all is loot and see what you have left at the end before markup but I aggree it should be made a bit clearer if they are presenting stats
