  2. So, this years xmas sale...uh, crowdfunding...I mean, this years pyramid scheme is done by A-Team...!?! Wow...*blush*

    1,2 million dollars...*lol*, good luck, you'll need it !
messi cant buy them all. I wont say I lost all the trust in Arkadia by now, but this is getting ridiculously embarassing...but hey, as long as people will pay you for this, keep taking their money ! x'D

Cant wait for your new moon in the 3rd quarter of 2018. ;P
I wonder what kind of barriers MA prepared for you this time. x'D

Honestly, Im out of all these pyramid scams since years and Im glad Im no longer supporting this bullshit with my money...merry xmas !

  3. The question that should be asked is the exact opposite - why MA let this happen but not, for example, something similar by ND/RT?

The optimistic answer is one - that Ark is somehow more convincing than others. Even after that land plot debacle. As for pessimistic answers, their name is legion.

  4. The landplot debacle is ofcourse, still ongoing. Maybe they should make an effort to fix that first, before keeping their hand up for mo' money.

  5. It's very simple really. Arkadia has the money to do this. Remember it is not a free thing here and they had to pay MA big time money to get this.

  6. Just move the land plots to the moon and implement it all at once. Make it interesting...

What did I miss? What debacle?

  8. here

tl;dr: they promised 'land plots' as event prizes more than a year ago; still haven't delivered.

  9. Seems to be a MindArk (made) "problem. Calypso landplots announced in 2015. No release in 2016.
Then this thing named "gardening" came...no release in 2017...honestly...LOL...now its 2018 and the CLD land plots still do nothing.

    Compet ftw ! x'D
VR Business Meeting Application ftw ! x'D
    DeepToken ftw ! x'D

    Arkadian landplots sales meeting :
1.) A-Team asks MA for "new area" and "deeds".
    2.) MA says: "Give 1 million US Dollar"...and doesnt deliver anything..as its a "platform problem" x'D ;D x'DDDDD

The Arkadian Moon sale meeting sounds like a fail already:
1.) Again A-Team asks MA for "new area" and "deeds".
2.) MA says: "Give 1 million US Dollar"
3.) A-Team answers: "Hmmkay but ge gotta grab the money from the players first"

This feels so bad already. Asking for 1,2 million dollars in advance...for a new area and 7 mobs...a new area that MIGHT arrive in late 2018.
Deeds NOT tradeable if some wont get sold. Seriously ? Fuck off. With this kind of attitude and bad quality, on top of it the MA-barrier...just ridiculous. A-Team can always claim "MA is not ready yet to release the moon". Blaaahhh !

If Entropia would have advanced graphics and ingame systems by now and if MA wouldnt have failed so often, putting some more effort into advertising, this game would have started off in 2006, like Star Citizen does today. I dont play Star Citizen, but it actually works.

You could almost feel sorry for all the investors of CLD Land plots, compet deeds etc. etc. etc., but they havent starved to death yet and will buy Arkadian Moon Deeds, to compensate their losses. x'D

  10. Well the landplots are actually there. And you can build a small house on it, where you can add some shopkeepers to it, or simply decorate it with furniture, and the gardening leads to fruits that can be used to create really eco L-weaponry. So there is some functionality. in the last update Mindark added two buildings a green and and orange one to the cities where the plots are located.
the orange one is called "tools and stuff" so apparently you might be able to get some tools there in the future and get high on the stuff.

  11. You can build a small house on it...having a green and an orange house near, that do nothing.
"Gardening" *rofl* leads to fruits that can be used to create eco L weapons.

And all that got achieved within 2 years. Wow ;D
Holders of the largest plot (162 CLDs + additonal requirements/items) must be proud to
    be part of this...farmville attempt.

Ya, looks promising, really, with a great design on top of it...the future has arrived.

Doesnt sound like a half a$$ attempt of crap at all. Congratulation !

But back to the Arkadian Moon Deeds :

They say, 70.000 of 200.000 deeds got sold by now, in an email, thats for deed holders only.

Hi McCormick. I got the email and am not a moon deed holder. I do have AUDs though.

On the CLD land development debacle the issue was that MA changed how it would work. Wasn't it meant to be you had to have 3x3 CLD plots to get a development big enough to build on. But IIRC everyone was going to get a plot. I had the impression that they were going to make a lot of the existing land available as plots. So everyone would own a bit of Calypso i.e. you'd be able to go stand there and say "this is mine". I always imagined you'd be able to right click the deed and select "visualise boundary" and see a glowing wall around the bit that was yours, like you can if you own a house in game. I was looking forward to seeing what we each randomly got. i.e. people would be swapping deeds for ones with better views, proximities to different areas etc and chucking in extra peds for prime real estate.

The whole swapping deeds etc to get ones you wanted next to each other would have been interesting too (although I can foresee potential issues - but nothing that couldn't be worked around). One would have presumed MA had thought this through though before they put the CLDs up for sale. Just as I'm sure they'd checked the finances, I suspect they had thought through the land allocation too.

I think they changed it just to try to get more people to chuck even more money in game to buy up extra deeds for that silly reverse auction.

When they did this they reduced the number of users of the gardening and housing development feature down so low that hardly anyone could do it. Big effing waste of time. They need more things like Puny hunting and vehicles in game. Things that are nice and cheap to get the casual players in. This big game hunters model is daft.

I suspect space is being ignored for similar reasons. People are not playing there because it is broken, and because people are not playing there, MA de-prioritise it. The space courier missions could have fixed this but... you know.

(heck I'm sounding like you now :D)

  13. I did indeed think as well, we would all own a small land of Calypso...but they fucked it up, hence I sold my CLDs. Useless.

I agree on the rest, ofc. :P

  14. How many got sold by now ?

Yeh. I liked the idea of having a wooden plank nailed to post with "Wistrel's Place" on it and maybe a small tent and campfire. Perhaps some wooden fence or that weird raised up wooden hut thing. Maybe a treehouse would have been nice. But nooo nooo, you can't have anything nice ingame that costs just maybe a few quid (fair play for A GAME [not reality]) if you want a nice thing that is a bit of harmless fun that will be one thousand dollar to you my friend.

    Wrong!
