I ended up in a minor fight with someone there in the thread about her. Some shit claiming everyone was being toxic then going around splitting hairs over subjective job titles and telling everyone to go learn to read. I'm starting to see what you mean about some of the MA fan boys.

Still.... it is no weirder than anything else in 2020...

 

I would like to ask them about the "general networking optimisations" in fact... how about a video on how they are optimising the network code?

OK so... I just had a look at the rules. Ignoring for the moment that having rules surely negates calling something a AMA... with the rules they have set... they really do rule out a hell of a lot of stuff... nearly everything I've thought of relates to a likely already in progress/ "resolved" support case.... which is "off limits".

It effectively means you can't ask about anything that might be considered "wrong" with the game. It constrains questions to "speculative future/what if's" which we know are pointless cause MA will say they'd like to do that at some point and forget it, or generic wishy washy corporate stuff like "tell us about your role within Mindark".

For example, I'd really like to ask them about the nature of the sound bug that is preventing Cyrene vehicles from having sounds for I don't know how many years now.... but that almost certainly has a support ticket so is "off limits".

Something I note looking at the questions already asked.... most people have already ignored the rules.

I think you are being unfair there McCormick. Mine at least warrants more than that. Unless of course they reply "yes we could" or "maybe we could" or "no we can't" and don't actually elaborate.

But yes most of the questions don't follow the rules (which basically deter the asking of anything real anyhow and negate the point of AMA).

I liked the one about the future of the engine and about putting stuff on the ground again. I just wish they'd elaborated more on why the 2nd one is important or at least linked a complaint thread about when they removed the ground placing feature... (still say they were lazy fuckers to do that - I'm still waiting for them to remove the entire game cause they CBA to fix the bugs - a simple text adventure would do).

 

Well there are no real questions because MA banned anything relating to a support ticket. That leaves room for little more than personal anecdotes and baseless unrealistic and frankly wholey misleading speculation about the future.

In the future, we plan to make it possible to specify the PayPal email address when making a withdrawal.. yayyay!!!!!. 2. years on same Q gets asked.....:)

However there is no concrete timeline for starting work on such a system. We plan to communicate updates soon

Worrying... I don't think I've ever been charged for something I didn't receive. Normally when an error happens in wipes out everything including the money side of the transaction.

If I were them, I wouldn't prat around with MA support. Just get straight on to the credit card company.
