oww :( This sucks, i have exams until wednesday.. Why can't they wait a few more days..

 

Now this is going to be fun. Cant wait to see what kind of vehicles will appear.

They will be 0,1ped value and require something additional like 100Ped Oil / hour...

 

oh, good, i can stay up at night or maybe day on Sunday to Monday; maybe i try to get some more to pass out to random members of this nice forum, however if i find a newbie who sells it to me at once for a 1 ped

To celebrate the arrival of vehicles to Planet Calypso and the Entropia Platform, FPC Official Avatars will travel around Calypso directly after MindArk's 11.2 release, giving out free vehicles to colonists they meet along the way. MindArk's 11.2 release is tentatively expected on June 21.
Only 1 vehicle per avatar will be allowed, and the offer will be available only while stocks last. Rumor has it though, that stocks will be plentiful :-)

Yea! I got one, but not for free... They were giving them out for free, but I was a bit too late for the first handout, so I got one from the auction. Now I just have to find enough refined crude oil to use it . But MA reps will be giving them out for free again later this week and also next week, so I was told, so I could get another one... MA is also very finicky about where you spawn vehicles; for instance, grass verges at PA near the trade center is a no, no.

 

I did log in and hang around a couple of likely areas but I was not offered one, I have noticed that where there are vehicles there is more lag! Don't everybody customize them at once!

 

It was very laggy at PA and TPks.... I bet only a lucky few knew they were going to be given out for free - in the auction there's already three pages of vehicles; most with buyouts of 600/700+ peds, some in the lower 1,000s...

 

Mindark imposed a tax on us for changing cloths and causing lag (ya sure) so look for some similar tax to be imposed for smog emissions or road repairs in the near future. LOL. And you thought that Mindark was implementing vehicles for the gamers. NOT

 

It didn't take long until the FPC representatives (Simon and Emma) were completely surrounded by people each time they came to a new TP. An ant-hill of probably close to hundred Calypsians was formed around them within minutes lol. Was quite a sight, unfortunately I didn't take a screenie tho :)

I was lucky to get a car from Emma after sitting on top of her head there in the middle of the crowd for 10 minutes lol... Finally a trade request popped up, guess she wanted to get rid of me ;)
