A guide to getting a car! by HIDE

Lets make a distinction between reality and Non-game. Instead you could fork out the 50 bucks for a new game like Mass Effect. Way cheaper than EU too. Not only do you have a car to drive on many planets, but you also have a spaceship and kick-ass crew to investigate and follow a galagtic storyline. The graphics are way better than CE2. Doesnt cost a thing other than the original purchase price.

No stress wether the next thing you kill might have loot or that the next bomb or probe might be a hit. And you might have some extra cash left over for nicer things.

This is for those gamers who simply dont have the 2K USD for a car or a drivers licence for that matter.

Not only wont I ever get involved with cars in EU, I am also taking a break from the game and playing Mass Effect. I will be back when all has cooled down a bit. EU is a nice game I have grown accustomed to, just dont like to play or try to not having peds on my card. i will play again when I can depo substantially ofc.

And to all who depo frequently. Considder all moneys deposited as lost forever. Just play for fun without obssesing about every Ped and pec. Cos if you do, there is no-funfactor in the game anymore. i have seen this happen with peops agressivelly bitchin all the time whilst inside. Not the kinda peops you wanna hang with when trying to have fun.

 

Mass Effect is great! : >
Played the first one a year after I had said it sucked, (mainly because I saw my friend play it and he was in a car for like 45 minutes... totally boring :( )
Then realised how awesome it was.

And then Mass Effect 2 came out, probably one of the best series I've ever played.
Part from Fable! I love the Fable games! :D


And EU Is just a game where you can lose money... I think people has to get used to that!

 

 

Only thing I hated about Mass Effect 1 is that he seemed to run so slooooooooow.
But they fixed it in the second.

I'm looking forward to the third... The third of Fable as well! :D

Yep, at first I had the same problem with ME1. Then I downloaded the patch and all was amazingly fine. I am not familliar with Fable, looks great tho;)

MA/FPC cant even get close to the graphic effects of any of these games. I mean just look at the ava faces in gameplay of ME1.

I will definetlly get me ME2 soon as I finished with ME1.

You also said people should get used to losing money in EU. Are you kidding me??

I dont wanna get used to it or get used to feeling like a loser and made to feel like one.

Its like you say ,resistence is futile Submit to FPC and relinquish your money!

 

Fable has a charm that pretty much no other game can deliver.
Mass Effect has a storyline that is freaking amazing, the depth and blahblahblahblhab.
It's great.

I never even thought about patching his slow movementspeed :( Fuck..

That's true by the way, CryEngine2 was supposed to deliver us a great looking game but It's mainly a performance hog... Ma can't do anything right :(
They even removed the good old polka dot pants that were in the beta...

 

Makes me wonder how EU wouldve looked like if MA went with Bioware & Demurge studios, instead of Crytek.

The differences is apparent too. Crytek just dont have the games experience as Bioware does when it comes to futuristic society role playing games. It shows when they impliment old fashioned vehicles instead of futuristic fly-cars for example.

For me, and others I suppose, it has been a great dissapointment. Cryengine 2??? Bah!

 

Well Crytek hasn't really done any development for EU.
All they have done is coding the graphics engine, all other code is made by MA.

It would make more sense and it would work better because it could fly over the small stones instead of doing flips when it barely touches one!

Sad to see posts like this pore over from EF to here.

I left EF because of the shitty postings and attitude and came here because it was crap free here.

But it looks that the toilet bowl is starting to flow over and spills on the better parts of the universe.

Ty for dissing my favorate game Mass Effect, now I know to steer clear of you as much as possible. You clearly dont have an eye for quallity in games, thats apparant. FPC/Crytek sure as hell dont have what Bioware/Demurge Studios have. Have yo uever bothered to look? Mmm prbly afraid of losing intrest in EU, LOL.

Tho I should point out when playing farcry 2, I see the same kinda vehicles,(Strange), and none does flips when you hit pebbles, the way they do in EU. Corrupted code perhaps or just a half-lame job? Or just a incompitent hand-job .

Dont even get me started on esthetics. I mean none of these new implimented cars actually fit or seem to belong in the Space age surroundings of Calypso. No-one can argue that point. With all the money we the gamers depo and pay FPC, you would expect them to come up with something more classy with quallity for the EU-Experience and clients. I feel different playing Mass Effect than I do EU, purelly due to the "atmosphere" the surrounding cause me to feel. The realism effect. A Game I lose myself in ful limmersion not purelly addiction. Theres a difference you know, try and explain that to the FPC designesrs, LOL and GL :)

You obviously dont own a car IRL. Buying a $2000 car wont save you any money, and wont get you any chicks. What it will get you is a bunch of large repair bills, and some friends going "Nice Pinto."

In that sense, youre better off playing EU and saving the money spent on auto repairs and insurance.

 

Understand. Although its not what makes you human rather what you think might make you human. Not all humans are like that and some even believe Humans are NOT meant to be like that.

 

Immagine that, a penguin on a shrinks couch. I dont see the relevance or motivation. Stupid cos penguins are animals and humans are NOT, (Pls dont argue this point, not in the mood). Penguins dont have the cash to pay the shrink-fees, neither the capacity to earn some.

Best thing for em is a yeti with a bat that is clobbering em into bloodspatters.
