I used to use entropiatools.com inventory calculator to calculate value of items incl markup. now it seems that website is down, is there anything else like that around?
I wrote to Carebear and asked if I should mirror his tools... maybe he'll agree to send them to me then I can provide a mirror at my soc server.
He was down a while back as well because he didn't pay :). He told us that he now payed for a couple of years, wonder whats wrong.
PM me with what you're looking for, and I can see what we can do (if Pirx would not be able to help you out, that is).
My TreeView tool doesn't have any markup info, but you can get TT value of your stuff (or part of it depending on what you check-off). Entropia Inventory Tree
Hehe, well I probably would have enough space, but entropiaplanets.com is probably way more cool for you in a domain name than fofw.net I figure? :P Will talk to you ingame Leeloo :)
Nice tool Snowleo, but most times I need the markup values too. So I hope Carebears tool is back up soon. (btw, is it the only tool like that that exists?) and ty for the webspace offers I will talk to both of you, my website went down and cant contact the server admins, I guess its MIA, so need new space for my Coloring Guide (WoCat If anyone remembers) and my Service website :-/
No reply from Carebear as of yet. I also wrote an email to the gmail acc mentioned in the whois data now. I haven't seen any similar tool Leeloo, so if the entropiatools are lost we will need to make a new one it seems. In theory I have the knowledge to code it, but practically I am well enough busy with coding at work... so lets hope carebear responds or someone else finds the time to do it.
I will come back, it normally does... but that said, it would be good to have a mirror or indeed a new version of this tool. With all the integration work EntropiaBay have been doing recently with other sites I suspect they would be keen on a version that can do calcs based on their data too. Wistrel
Yes they are keen on it. I started creating a clone of the tool at Sticky Note - A site to make your stuff sticky - the first draft which finds quite some MU info from peauction is already working. There is a lot of work to be done for this tool but I am pretty optimistic to have a version that reliably displays MU from peauction and entropiabay finished this weekend. Feel free to try it out :)
Will try and remember to take a look later. No so keen on entropia passwords at work. Doubt anyone has the nounce to be evesdropping but you never know. Good job on getting it done though. I'll try and give feedback
big +rep for making a tool I tried it with Paint and it didnt work. Summary was 0Ped TT and MV... Example Line: 849 Paint Can (Blue) 438 21.90 PED STORAGE (Calypso)
How did you copy&paste it? On the inventory site of your entropiauniverse account you will usually get " ". It seems you lost the tabulator, which is used to delimit the columns and it was replaced with regular blanks instead. I designed the input field that way that you can CTRL+A and CTRL+C the complete inventory site, then you can just put it into the input area with CTRL+V. Or you just mark the relevant lines in the browser and insert them, even some dirty stuff before and after the lines should not hurt too much. I believe the only sensitive data included with marking everything is your exact avatar name?
Pirx, I could offer you a spot on our VPS as well if you want :) What technology do you use for it? If it's PHP/mySQL, then it's not a problem whatsoever.
Nice work on the calculator. I noticed a bug: I have a Vivo T5(L) Blueprint but when I click on the link to PEAuction, it brings up the Adapted Vivo T5(L) Blueprint info. I haven't checked any other items for similar matching errors.
Ah let me have my fun with the stickynote site for now, wanted to add lotsa tools and stuff for ppl to enjoy browsing a bit more and this calculator thingie was just the kick in the balls I needed to get the ball rolling. Was using it for my webcomic tool, which is a mess to use right now as only I needed to use it. But when the EU calc works as I want I will add a small support case system so people can request improvements, tell me of bugs and maybe even wish for completely new apps. If it all goes nowhere I'll come back on your offer, but maybe people will be willing to support the development and continued service of the site (when its good enough) and my server can earn his keep or maybe I can even rent a meaner and leaner machine than this shabby virtual server. As with EP and EF I believe competition is a good thing and maybe someone will step up and improve on my tool, then I will need to improve again. A man needs his toys you know :)
