Quitting EU ... cya all

first off you're not a bad person. Second, I shouldn't be replying because I think it does you more harm than good to get responses at this point .

However....

If you are truly feeling down, if you are truly feeling bullied. Why not just simply ignore the bad and focus on the good in the game?

From what I've seen... I see you chasing threads, posting where the people you don't like are posting....

Just let it allllllll goooooo... and you will be happier.

That doesn't mean leaving eu... that doesn't mean thinking that you have no friends...
EU is what you make of it . Right now you are the one making it a bad experience.

And if you feel that you have to take a break... then take a break... But come back with a clear head.

Since you do NOT have the guts to tell the entire story... I will. I am the EF Mod mentioned above.

The thread started by Robert Black was a nice series of screenshots showing the structure built by Oberon. Faye/Ranpha did make a positive comment and this post was in no way altered.

Someone else took offense to Faye/Ranpha posting, and sent a -rep. Then Faye/Ranpha posted all about this -rep comment in the thread which was off topic completely. That part was removed. Based on the history of this personal dispute, I made it clear that dragging it up again would not be tolerated. That thread was about what Oberon created, not about -reps and hurt feelings.

That is reason behind the warning. I use EF and EP for recreational and information purposes too. Seeing these distractions honestly sucks.

Something we all need to remember: what happens ingame is ingame. Just because someone does something to upset you ingame does not mean a rule in either forum is broken. Those are two separate entities. MA|FPC has a way to deal with ingame abuse: file a support case. Pretty sure Lykke and Peter would agree with that, too. Posting about it here or at EF will accomplish nothing.

Again, my apologies to Lykke and Peter... I earned a slap on the wrist I bet. I just really dislike people telling only the part of the story that supports their claim.

Faye: I told you in PM and I will say it here publicly - you are very welcome at EF and EP and in EU. You should spend your energy focusing on the good that you have done in the past and worry less about what others are doing. Get back with ETA and make a difference. Many, including me, appreciate and respect what you do to help newcomers.

The entire world is not against you. Make your own decisions, do not allow others to make decisions for you. No one can force you to leave EU. You make decision all on your own. Take responsibility for your actions.

Faye ... I can appreciate that you had some very real challenges with a couple of people, and there's no denying that the drama (yes drama) was played out across two forums and a website or two. New threads were started as fast as others were being closed or even deleted, and you participated in all of them, including starting your own. It's been rather quiet for a while, and quite honestly, it does look like it's you who is obsessed now with this issue because you keep bringing it up.

I'm sorry that it was so emotional for you, but you keep making it worse by not dropping it and moving on. You are giving far too much power to those you are accusing of making your life miserable. I agree with RJ that you should focus on what's good in EU for you, and continue doing what you do best. As far as I know, no one is currently bugging you about any of this, so it seems that you may be causing your own stress at this point by bringing everything up.

Please drop it Faye, and don't start this all over again, because this will not be a good outcome if you do. The Admins already made it clear that bringing this stuff up again is not acceptable. The title of your thread clearly says that you're quitting, yet ... the content of your post is not clear in that respect at all, but rather rehashes your accounting of what your side of the story is.

Again, I know it was all very real for you, but there were more people involved in this than just you, and as a result of this thread, you are basically inviting them to respond to what you have written. The community is over this stuff Faye, and many have asked that it just be left alone.

So please ... for your own emotional well-being Hon, just make a clear statement as to whether or not you're leaving, and leave it at that, and if you're not leaving, then make the choice of moving forward and do what you do best. Choose to enjoy EU and get past this. If you can't, then you are the only one causing yourself so much emotional pain.

It's all about choices.

To Rayne Jade ... I don't think there's any issue with you posting your side of what's been said in the OP, it's only fair. I have to agree with you regarding people posting their disputes all over forums, because this is incredibly unfair to the community.

It puts everyone in a position to make judgment based on he said/she said content about an incident that we have no first-hand knowledge of, and even though we are not qualified to judge in this respect, there are those who have to get into the battle anyway, and that only causes more issues.

This stuff has to stop, and I'm willing to bet that when Lykke and Peter get back Sunday night, they aren't going to like this much. They've already made their positions clear, and I think it should be respected.

 

I can say from experience that you shouldn't let anyone ruin your fun in EU because they are harassing you or bullying you into things. When that happened to me I just had fun with it and even gained a few friends like that so maybe you should try that too and don't take things too personal, especially your EF bans, I have so many I can't even remember them all lol

 

Well first of all I can say is take a break. EU will be here. If the ingame stuff is affecting you then you should take a break for a while. Don't worry about the other people--just e yourself and keep going. If someone is being a prick then let them be. Controversy requires two sides just like any argument. If you don't participate then it will die. So instead of quitting just take some time off for a few weeks or even a few months.

 

What everyone above has said is all correct and proper and I'd agree with it all.

However,I think everyone is missing the point. There's no other way to say it. That guy who bullied faye is a complete and utter shitbag.

There seem to be no consequences to his behaviour yet there are for faye's reaction. This is the crux of it and hence since justice has not been served it can be difficult to move on.

 

You seem to have ignored the fact that Calypto received a ban of his own for his actions on EF.

As for what he says ingame or on his radio, obviously no forum mod has any power over that. And until his customers get fed up with what he says about his adversaries and leaves, he'll continue to say what he wants to his audience.

 

Again, the EF drama comes pouring in over here..

Faye, I feel for you but if you are quitting just because of Calypto and his cronies then I think you are just letting him win. If your tired of the shit slinging and this is your only way out then fine.. do that..

Lykke and Peter are away over the weekend and won't be back until late Sunday night, so doubt the thread will be closed unless Kalanen does it ... I think he is a Mod.

And Ace ... I can appreciate your sentiments, but regardless of whether someone gets their due justice or not, the forums are not a dumping ground for personal disputes, and the community has had enough of this drama already. Faye isn't doing himself any justice by dragging it up again, and it needs to stop.

There are to many ppl on EF feeding trolls, just stay away from it, but i do feel you should apoligize to lyke and peter these type of things should never bleed from one to another comunity site.

If such a need dos arize then atleast be so polite to post it in the black hole.
Should be needless to say that thats my pov and no pun intended.

(p.s. just play a other game for a while EU is not the only good game, try things like EVEonline too its a fresh change :) )
