Alrighty, we can do it. We can work on a guide together using the wiki and can make it an entry for the competition. What do you think about this idea? Doable or not? Which topic would you prefer? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - EDIT: Just a copy from my post further below with a little explanation: "Lol, for sure it's not about a piece of green armor. It's about the idea of collaboration instead of competition. It's about the idea that one can achieve better/faster results when working in team and team work is fun. It's about the idea of open source and sharing. It's about the idea that a wiki is the better solution for guides because it's collaborative, everyone can update it and it's capable of integrating almost every kind of content like image galleries, videos, RSS feeds and not at least: tables! The right and license granted to PCF is "non-exclusive" and everything on the wiki is GNU Free Documentation License anyway. So no problem to use anything on the wiki to enter the competition and the other way round: No problem to put any entry for the competition on the wiki too. And for the hardly probable case we win a piece of armor we'll find a solution. For example selling it and make the proceeds prizes in free events. I'm really keen on trying this
I belive we should make some awesome tutorials .... and make them exclusively for EP only and the whole community and not for one planetpartner! Tbh I could care less about special armors ...

Like the idea, we have showed we can do a lot if we set our minds to it (Cyrene, missions, vehicles). I also wanna point out that there are loads of video tutorials on Youtube. Smoerble made a few good ones ( > ) Oh and Tass the non-exclusive rights doesn't mean that we can publish the guides somebody makes in our wiki without their approval. The non-exclusive rights are given to FPC and that doesn't mean anyone can use them without approval of the original author. We can however link to it of course.
I would love for there to be more coloration on the economics tutorial that I started, its the main reason I put it there. Many heads are smarter than one. You can use it to polish for the competition or for just here, I would be happy with either. It is my understanding that the rights granted to fpc do not prevent you from doing what you want with your own material, it just allows them to publish it as they want. If this is in fact the case, I have no issue at all in my work or work in which i collaborate on with others being used there as well as everywhere if it can benefit the community. Also if an armor peice was won it would be better to put it in auction and donate the winnings towards the anf kits, no point in tting something of value.
I'm in no position to make any tutorials, but here's a thought: If there is a collaborative tutorial, name the author for the competition entry "www.entropiaplanets.com" or "Team of www...." or something like that. that'd be like an ad, cause... where do you go if you need info? those who "bought" it or those who made it? teehee
