Just wondering what do EP members think is a good video capture tool to use; one that is reliable and doesn't cause gfx-card conflicts. Someone I know uses Fraps when playing EU, but apparantly using the pause function (F7) sometimes causes EU to stall for quite a few seconds. If just starting (F6) and stopping (F8) a clip, then there is no problems, only when using the pause option...

I use Fraps. I have to admit though that I never made a video.

Cheers, thanks for the info :) The video grabber that's giving problems is one called Taksi, so I'll try and find out how Fraps compares with it...

Yep FRAPS is the best one if you ask me, not to many options to choose from but it does what it needs to.

I have set it up so that the PrintScreen button on my keyboard makes a screenshot and the Pause / Break button starts of stops the recording of a video. This way it does not interfere with any EU commands.

  5. I use fraps also, PrtScn for screenshots and F12 for movies. The only problem I have is if I remember to press F12 to turn it back off. Have filled up the hard drive a couple times cause I forgot to turn it off :)

yep it goes pretty fast when you make a movie 1920x1080 pixels makes a lot of data a second.
