Today, we have some more exciting stuff to share with you. The team at Planet Cyrene has not been idle lately, and they have released more of their artwork for your viewing pleasures. Not only did they add a new picture on the Planet Cyrene Facebook page, but they also shared one with EntropiaPlanets. Did I say one? I actually meant two, as it is one picture with the width of two, ensuring you can use either half as a Desktop background, or, in case you have the luxury of owning two monitors, you can use the whole picture as a background for both screens. The artwork has been created by Cyrene artist "Tum", and depicts two Zyn Shamans. Some additional background information is given by Ed Robles 3: "The Zyn are one of the two oldest races on Planet Cyrene. They are a shamanistic beetle-like humanoid race, each of whom perform different duties for their clan (There are Warriors, Labourers, etc.). Some of these clans maintain a neutral position, whereas others are very hostile. Think of the Zyn as different ant colonies, except these group together to form powerful kingdoms. They hate technology and do not initially trust the Humans on Cyrene. Most of the large-sized insect humanoids have formed partnerships with a mix of other insect races. The two Zyn depicted in the artwork are powerful magic wielding Shaman who use the power contained within the various crystals found on Cyrene to perform all sorts of magic. In the picture they have taken out some Imperium recon scouts who ventured deep into their lands". EnttropiaPlanets would like to thank Ed and his team for giving us the exclusive to these pictures, and to compliment Tum with the excellent artwork. Enjoy the pictures:
Both are pretty small to be used for a background. Perhaps the forum software resized them during upload or something ?
Possible. I have uploaded both for download as well. Link 1: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/forums/uploads/EntropiaPlanets/wallpaperfit shaman.jpg Link 2: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/foru...ets/final wallpaper 2shaman fit 1680x1050.jpg
OH Cool to see - AWESOME art work indeed!! But I also loved the artwork we got for the December issue of EntropiaTimes :)
yeah long time indeed.... well nice to see we get some pictures at least. The models already in sandbox look quite promising too (facebook page) but some moving pictures would have been even better ofc.
i see 3 :D There's the small beetle near front of pic. Directly above this beetle behind the wreckage looks something very suspicious :P may be a mob or just decoration? In the top right hand corner is also something. Dunno what maybe some kind of mech or robot?
