So as you may know I have been on holiday to Canada last year and before that to Cuba and the USA. So this year I decided to stay a bit closer to home and do some city trips to the capitols of Europe. Well we are almost half way through the year and I have not been on holiday yet, so I had an idea. I'm looking for an Entropia player living in or near one of Europe's capitols to hang out with for one day (do some sightseeing, drink some Beer, or anything else) in one of those cities. Don't worry, although my holiday will be a bit longer then a day I will not hang out with you for more then a day (unless we both want to ;)). So, I'm calling ALL Entropians that would be willing to hang out with me for a day in one of Europe's capitols to post a message and I'll choose one of the cities.
Hey! Got mixed feeling about inviting you to Bucharest :P Some people don't even see it as being in Europe...it's interesting but Bucharest itself doesn't have that many tourist attractions and it's not the most tourist friendly area. Look it up and if you feel like it give me a sign :) i'd like hanging out a bit :D
Did a check, will be around €700 for a 4 night stay in Bucharest including round trip flights (Amsterdam <-> Bucharest) and a 4-star hotel in the center of the city at the beginning of July. Need to see what stuff there is to do in Bucharest. Did find some nice stuff to do in Bucharest and also found a nice hostel (mmm, didn't that movie take place in Bucharest??) to sleep for around 28 euro for a private room or 12 euro for a dorm bed (think I will take the private one, so I need to worry less about my stuff). Found a free guided tour website that has high marks (http://www.guided-bucharest.com) and there is a lot of stuff on the wikitravel site of Bucharest (http://wikitravel.org/en/Bucharest) So, it might be a nice option to go there
Copenhagen. If our schedules match, I'd not have an issue showing you around Denmark. Flights here (airberlin.com) are cheap. You ought to be able to land a ticket for about 100 euros. Not sure if that's return, though, what with flight taxes and all. Alternatively, there's the train. Takes a bit longer, costs about the same, but you do get to see stuff along the way. Plus: Your tourguide will speak Dutch for a pint of Guiness :D and you'd not have to bother with a hotel. We can host you right here.
If you don't mind living in a room with a chincilla and a hamster, we offer an airbed in the living room ;)
I did some searching and for about 110 euro I can fly there and back with KLM (AMS <-> CPH) so that's actually not to bad. With a hotel it comes to around 600 euro, which I might prefer over an airbed :) Let me give it some thought.
Thats a nice looking hotel Lykke and indeed not expensive. I will keep it in mind for sure, thanx. Send using Tapatalk
The aerobed sounds worse than it actually is, RAZER. It's not a regular inflatable airbed thingy you'd typically use on a camping, but an actual kingsize bed. If you ever watched the old home shopping ads on Dutch television, you'll know what I mean. If not: Air Mattress | Air Bed | Queen Air Bed | Aerobed Indoors | Aerobed - Dream Anywhere
I know them Peter, I even have one myself, and some how I was never able to sleep on it (tried a couple of times). But I will give it some more though.
haha ! That's an awesome picture of Chili, Peter :) *changes desktop picture* He is the cutest! And yesterday he ran around but refused to go back up into his cage. When Peter grabbed him he was SO angry! You probably wouldnt know that an animal like that would have such a personality - but he has. In the morning he waits for us until he goes to bed. in the evening he sits and hold his hand on the fence, waiting for us to let him out. We're also babysitting the oldest one's mini hamster, Hanne. She is adorable and really really tame. Whenever she sees us she stands on toes in her cage beacuse she want's up. awww ....:mouse:
