I don't see this on any of the normal EU sites or on nd.com so it seems like it is aimed purely at outside potential players. (maybe I'm wrong) I really like the idea behind using taxes for RL good, but we wont know the reality of the system until after we have witnessed it in action. It looks like a good step in the right direction though, both for pr and for melting the barriers between virtual and reality. narfi
who wrote that press release? the idea in itself is nice, but the wording screams "advertisement". subtle as a sledgehammer
It seems pretty official after all, its posted both on neverdie.com and neverdienews.com (client loader feed) People suspect the newly introduced taxation in Hell is aimed towards the charity, no clue what % it is. It will be interesting to see how this turns out, hopefully for the good! If there will be some proof provided about the outcome we'll see, hopefully it will. At least an announcement would be nice.
Your right amber, I posted the link an hour or so before Tenacity published it on the neverdie.com forum :) so yeah it is official, and looks like the taxes are 5% in all of the hell mines. I had read in the past that ND was wanting to run land areas etc.. in a different way than calyspo does including charity fundraising, but I am too lazy to find the post or link of where he said that. narfi
