    Seems the edit problem was in the style, we made. Should be fixed now.

    We will adjust the forum width, but not with much, because collecting a lot of the tools in one drop down is not possible at this moment, without ruining the individual tools. We might find a solution for that though.

    Those of you having a problem with your name and drop downs to profile page - should try and see if this works too when we adjust the width...

    I'll tell you when ;)

    Actually, the width looks much better now, but the search bar is once again hiding everything behind it. :(

    That's on this desk top, but don't know if it will look the same on the laptop, I'll have to check that later, I have something I need to do right now.

    Dunno. I am afraid it's because of all the icons and a 'long' name. We are still working on it, hopefully there will be a solution soon.

    It's working now, and the forum isn't so wide any more ... LOVE IT ... you guys ROCK. :wavespin:

    Now the only thing (for me anyway), is getting the Verdana font to stick from creating the post to posting it. It reverts back to the original default. Once this gets sorted, that's it for me right now.

    I really love this new forum software. :)

    As I can see with my FireFox firebug the default font is Verdana. So if you change your font to Verdana you not going to see any changes at all. In my previous test post I changed the font and it stick. Unless Lykke fixed this before I posted this and I'm too late. lol

    When I'm typing my post, the font is Verdana, but when I post the reply it converts to the old font. I think Lykke was working on making Verdana the default so that we didn't need to bother choosing a font, so I don't know where we're at with this right now. I'm sure it'll get sorted out. :)

    EDIT:

    Just realized too that an edited post doesn't disappear either ... YEAH.

    Do you not love our Admins, I'm just sayin' ... THEY FRICKIN' ROCK!!!! :wavespin:

    I think they it is sorted it out. I changed my font earlier to times new roman and it stick.

    And thanks a lot Lykke for the work. If you have a donate button I will give you something for working so hard for the Entropia community.

    Ok Nova - I'm testing the Verdana out to see what's up!

    EDIT:

    Nope, it's still the same. The Verdana font is the default when I create a post, but after I submit the post, it reverts back to the original default. :(

    I have NO idea what the deal is, because even when I choose the Verdana font, like I did at the beginning of this post, it didn't stick.

    Like said, I'm still working with the font - and they will be changed. I just have a million other things to do at the same time. It will take a while nontheless because so far, there's not one single place I can change it to make sure it's changed all over. I need to go into all the different skins, into all the settings (more than 100 each) and add the new font.

    If you use the Arkadia skin - it should be fixed in the post container though (this one where we write now). But the other skins are still missing.

    And MindStar, the reason why it changes back is because I need to change the font different places (the text font when writing - and the text font when posting. I know it sounds complexed .. and well, it is ;) ), and didn't get to that one place yet.

    So please, be patience little grasshoppers ;)

    No worries Lykke ... there's no rush Hon, so don't stress yourself, I know you have a gazillion other things going on as well. Whenever it gets done it gets done.

    I just switched to the Arkadia skin and the font works just fine. :)

    Cool :) then at least that one is settled :P

    Oh and please, use this in your signature instead of the old one. The matte on the old was dark, which is why it looks a little crappy against the white bg :)

    Thanks for the updated little purple guy, but getting it to work in my signature is not working. It's showing up as an attachment in your post and when I copy it to add to my signature, the image does not come up. That's ok for now, I have enough in my signature as it is. :) I'll go back to it later perhaps!

    The forum permissions for private soc forums should now be resolved, and thus the private soc forums should be available for use by their socieites once again. If your society is looking for a private place to discuss matters, feel free to drop us a message, and we can set one up for you, too.

    I'm still in the middle of handling some other permissions, but all previously public areas should now again be publically accessible to everyone.

    To get it to show, you need to upload the picture in the picture box - and after that an img tag appears underneath that (you need to scroll down). You take the img tab and add it into the signature box :)

    Should work - and then you know how to add pictures next time you want one :)

    I might be having an altitude problem here, but I'm not understanding what picture box you're talking about that I need to upload from.

    Whatever I did wasn't working, sorry. I'll deal with it later, I have to get back to my articles. :)

    Ahh I understand what you taking about now. Well I think that's an issue with the WYSWYG not storing your favorite font selection by default. I don't know were this WYSWYG store the default font selection or if it even has this feature. Usually some store the default font selection on the database. I think that's more of missing feature than a bug on the forum.

    Probably I'm all wrong. I usually work on Drupal CMS so I'm using my knowledge base on that not on this forum. So I hope I don't sound like "a know it all" guy.:what:

    EagletonNova - the default is set in the system. I'm nearly through all the skins, except for ROCKtropia which I'm about to finish up now. The default in the skins are now set to Verdana - and should be shown everywhere.

    MindStar, it's fine, hon - it was also meant for others who wish to upload pictures in their signatures. It's not possible for the default template - but we got an extra add-on which makes it possible to add pictures and banners in your signature. I will make a tutorial showing how to do that :)

    Thanks, both of you ... I love my virtual friends, I love this forum, and I love this forum's Admins ... I'm just in a state of being grateful today I guess, so I'm sending it out to the universe. Must be the frozen mango chunks I'm munchin' on. :D
