Gooooooood Morning Arkadia, first day in numbers

With Arkadia soon having been available for a whole day, I wondered how well the planet did during the first day. While activity on the planet seemed extremely high, with lots of the big names having teleported over to take a peek, and the centers everywhere seemingly crowded, that really does not give much to work with.

The Entropia Universe itself also is reluctant to dosh out official numbers, so I turned to the next best available number cruncher: Entropia Tracker.

Apparently not all data is properly alligned so closely after the release yet (the graph, for instance, is not showing Arkadia data yet, and at the moment, we only see hunting data for Arkadia), but the numbers still seem to indicate that Arkadia is off to an extremely good start:

At the time of writing, the data looked like this:

    PlanetHunting GlobalsHuntersIncreaseTurnover
    Arkadia1,126359+100%212,294 PED
    Calypso52,4563,028+1%6,309,365 PED
    Next Island16427-66,38%51,961 PED
    ROCKtropia1,840192+14,29%326,959

(Do keep in mind that while I write this, the first day is not over yet).

If the level of activity on Arkadia would remain the same between now and the remainder of its 30 days, the data would roughly end up looking like the following (based on the calculation that the numbers so far make up for roughly 75% of a day, multiplied by 30. This of course will not be entirely accurate for the amount of hunters. If the Arkadia partnership with AsiaSoft kicks off, though, the numbers might explode exponentially):

    PlanetHunting GlobalsHuntersIncreaseTurnover
    Arkadia45,04014,360+100%8,491,760 PED

In short, the planet seems to be off to a really good start. All of us at EntropiaPlanets want to congratulate David Dobson and his entire team on an impressive job, the rewards of which seem to indicate that their planet seems to strike the right tone.

    nice stats.
good for Arkadia and feel sory for the Next Island devs and palyers.
Hope they didn't pay NDS too much for his work. :cow: j.k.

  3. Working on th graph as I write this.. :)
(Stupid flash source needs to be pointed to the DB ID of each planet.. gah.. ohh well)

It would have been nice to compare this with when the other planets were released, NI/RT.
I wasn't here when RT was released but I sure do remember that the hof's in chat was many also when NI was released.

Please do that, compare the initial day/week of the new planets! (pokes starfinder)

Yeah, I was thinking that as well - would be great to get the stats for the first day / week / month for RT, NI and A once it gets there.

Only then can you draw some conclusions past the initial rush.

But looking at the figures so far NI is not doing very well at the moment.

  6. Please bear in mind that ET only gets info from the various planets if enough people are running the tracker client.
And, aparently, no one who participats on NI wanna run the ET client.

Right now, this is where people are logging globals from:
    Unknown location

Currently 22 clients are feeding data to our server.
    Calypso

Currently 32 clients are feeding data to our server.
    Rocktropia

Currently 3 clients are feeding data to our server.
    Next Island

Currently 0 clients are feeding data to our server.
    Planet Arkadia

Currently 41 clients are feeding data to our server.

There needs to be 3 or more unique clients logging globals from a specific planet for the globals to arrive at ET.
But - none the less, its interresting to see that Arkadia has a higher "Feeding population" than Calypso - that never happened with RT or NI.

    Wow, that is interesting!
