After changing the forum look and platform - we also created a lot of different forum styles. One for each planet to choose. The last days we spent on changing a little on the forum, making it lighter and improving the usability. One of the things we will be looking into is the styles. If you were not yet aware of the possibilities, you can choose a different forum style through the style chooser in the bottom of the forum: We created a style for each planet, so you can choose to have a style that fits with either your favorite planet, where you are at the moment, or which style falls into your taste: The question is now, if you like the styles we created, which one you use and if you have any wishes to either the 5 existing styles or a new one. We are not going to create a style for each member - that is not the point :) but we want to improve what we did and make your experience better. I will create a simple Default style too - a white plain style with no back ground pictures and 'noice' :) Please help us with your inputs and by adding your opinions to the poll. Thank you.
This I like! I like the Cyrene theme the best but for some reason I've ended up using the ROCKtropian! I'd like that the square around the avatar picture gets round corners also in the RT theme, no biggie though. Also the text "You have no unread threads. You may view all recent threads instead." needs to have a change in font colour for both these themes.
The small arrow next to the square around the ava pic is only correct in the Next Island theme. Hmm, kinda like the NI theme too, but not the colours I like the best so... Ooh and one last thing, I kinda hate that the buttons to save posts etc. bumps around when you hover over them. (FF 4.0.1)
Some settings are hard to read when editing your profile etc. with the RT theme, text has same colour as background.
I use claypso but I don't like any of them. The background pics on all of them are heavily pixellated. I would have thought they would have been fixed long ago but I've come to the conclusion perhaps it's only me who uses a widescreen monitor so others probably don't have the same isssues... The calypso style has black text on white background which is easy to read.
hmm George I use two wide screen monitors and they do not look pixelated here at all?? If anyone else has this problem, I'm very interested in knowing.
1920x1200 using Arkadia and I get pixelation but it is only really noticable on some areas of the building in the picture. Also the right hand side of the screen needs some spice!
Pixelation here too, the picture looks rather GIF/BMP quality although its a PNG. http://www.entropiaplanets.com/forums/styles/xenPowa/Xenforo_EP/rocktropiabg3.png
