Ok, I've been out a bit. I remember EF was sold to MA. No EF is back? And my account was deleted too. What is up with that?
Old story ... EF is back but as the unofficial official MA forum ... still run by 711, who sold us to FPC - who quit and handed everything back to MA, who now owns the FCP forum and ... 711 administrating that too (he must be laughing his ass off)...
Actually, PCF was bought by SEE Virtual Worlds, who officially took ownership of it around October last year. Apparently they unofficially decided not to go through with it in March this year. The announcement was made just recently, though, by means of a tiny little message on the MindArk website. Officially, neither side has released any more. PCF was apparently "leased" from 711, who would transfer ownership after an undisclosed amount of monthly payments. The payments plan never was fullfilled, so it's now owned by him again.
Which means he can sell it a second time, to the next Planet Calypso owner for example. And surely MA will be glad to buy EF from him, finally. They already started promoting it as the single forum to visit on their website and in the client loader. After he announced he's back as owner of PCF he did hurry to bring back premium memberships again. And you know what? The people who created the content on EF/PCF, that was bought with the PED the same people deposited are also the people who started throwing money at him again by buying the new premium memberships (between 1,58$ and 8$ per month).
