Again, please understand that we do not wish for any forum fights/war - and that we do appriciate 711 for coming here and tell his views in this case.

We wish for a solution and to solve the misunderstandings we obviously had from his pm to me. Also we still need 711 to clarify exactly what is ok and not on EF when it comes to post info about EP. To avoid any further misunderstandings too.

There are no hate from here to anyone on EF - because we have used EF as our basic ground for years and we do not have any reasons not to be there still. In fact we only urge people to link from EP to whatever is going on EU related around on the forums/sites, because restricting your knowledge to come from only one place would also limit the info you get about what is going on around in the *universe*.

 

hi 711, if i may, the burning question i have in all of this, is how do you know that Lykke sent 500 private messages to recruit people? did you recieve 500 complaints to that effect, make a guess at content, or...?




i think the banning of linking to EP is silly and petty, i'm sure Lykke was doing so in the competition thread for a bit of subtle promotion, however its somthing people on other forums do all the time. why should i have to upload an image a second time?

 

Simple, look in the database. Tedious to do by hand for such a large database looking at the pmtext fields in the database etc, so write a sql query to find all messages sent by a user with a particular message title.

 

Its pretty darn easy to grep messages sent from user X with partial content YXYX in message on an SQL database.

Does that mean any private pm we send over on EF is viewed by 711 or does he just look at ones that he feels he wants to see. If he can view them are they not really private messages.

 

It's easy to make an assertion like the above when it could never be proven wrong. In fact, it's an extremely childish statement.
I'm also sure that "mutually beneficial" means "Only if I get a ban and delete button"

 

If I am wrong pls correct me, but Lykke is a moderator on EF, dunno bout Peter tho. Then again it may launch total forum anarci if 711 is implimented as a moderator here. Purelly cos there are many anti-711s who took it upon themselves to be member of this forum not EF.

Ahem! i went there this morn. To my surprize her name was in large Light-blue letters at the bottom. meaning(Monderator). I clicked on the name Lykke and went to her user CP, Lo and behold Lykkes photos and shes been one for quite some time by the looks of it. Also saw strawberries, lots of em. That should confirm it;)

 

Lykke is not a moderator on EF. She might be a senior member (shows as teal colored) but not a mod, no.

Then I would have to say that 711 must also considder, that when the forum was launched, Lykke and Peter were very busy. In fact, Neo711 should know this cos he has first hand experience. Before aproaching him, they first wanted to proffesionally establish a decent forum to present to him. That sais a lot about how much respect they have for 711 in the very least.

Now 711 wont come back to this I think. Why, he is exactly what he shows and what so many negetivelly think of him. A brat, arrogant and smugg treating many with contempt.. I can not even begin to explain to you what money does to some peops. It does not nececary ensure you are a better person.

Soon as a fool starts thinking he is something....he is nothing.

 

Please do not mess the forum up with 711 as moderator here and Lykke/VF as moderator on EF.

First no, I'm not and have never been a moderator on EF, and frankly I never wished to be one either. It would be a fulltime job!

Second, No, 711 doesn't have first hand experience, if you are talking about EF - he bought it back in time from the EF founder, MindBuster. It already had it's members and set up. 711 adjusted this and made a couple of new features. What other forum experiences 711 has I do not know of course. He could have a tons of forums out there ;)

Third - could we PLEASE stop all the shit talk about other people? This case is sensitive and we only wish to solve this in a nice and friendly manner.

The questions I yet didn't get answered properly from 711 is:

- Can we post threads that advertice the interviews we have here - as long as it is EU related - and with a link to the interviews/articles, as we see other news has?

- Is it ok to mention this forum - f.x. "Oh I read on EP" or "I read on EntropiaPlanets blablabla" - if that's in a content which is not with the purpose of recruiting?

- Can we make banners which advertice the interviews and other events going on on EntropiaPlanets?

- Is it ok if I mention EP in private pm's as long as it's a single case, and not 500 (f.x. "Oh xx-playername, great you posted those tools on EP. Really appriciated").

I ask this just to make sure because I wish to avoid any further misunderstandings - and the rules should be clear also for the forums members, because I would hate to see anyone get into trouble because of this.
