The reason Lykke is listed as one of the moderators (as am I) in the group listings section bit somewhere, is because she is the moderator for the private Church of Lootius Group (and me for the TDO group)

So, yes, she moderates her private forum area. Nothing to do with the main moderators of the forum.

And this was brought up in the past on EF before a Landgrab a few years ago.

711 says he does not look at them, and to be honest, I dont think he has the time to do so.

But for sure the possibility is easy. The "Private" bit of Private messages only extends to those that dont have access to the database.

I wonder why the EF word filter censors even text in PMs - how private can a message be when it is subject to automated censorship?

Sorry wizzszz but I want to support Lykke and Peter as much as I can, but I dont see what you are doing in trying to insight a fight is that constructive, there is no point in aggravating a situation to cause a fight.

I think the 2 forums can run along side each other nicely ( I dont think 711 feels the same way) But I believe they can and I dont think causing trouble for troubles sake is a great idea.

This is for Lykke, Peter and 711 to sort out, not us :)

Don't be stupid, if you want to rule the masses, an easy instrument of control is to sow fear. And leave intentionally unclear what is allowed and what is not, so they will be afraid of doing ANYTHING at all.

This is how MA runs EU, this is how 711 runs EF - you very well know that - neither of them has ever heard of "democracy" and "equal rights" and stuff like that.

And in the light of recent events:
Sowing the seeds of discord is another instrument of control...

One thing before I go though - the EF staff is a team. 711 is owner and has the last word but decitions are discussed between us in the staff in these sort of cases, and this is no exeption.

EF does believe we could coexist with EP and run together nicely, but there are obviously a lot of issues that need to be resolved.

 

I had a (well, granted, not too nice) discussion with 711 here and the EF mods had nothing better to do to pop up and attack me - attack me with posts about rules they don't even understand, post about censorship they don't even know about.

I am just pissed someone is not grown up enough here to let the two forums coexist and i speak my mind - actually, i think most of the censoring on EF works so well because people are too afraid to speak their minds (and hereby i wish to point you towards my post above this)

So, who is causing trouble for troubles sake? I really hope you refer to 711 here, who stirred up all this over nothing.

711 always pulls the "conspiracy,antagonizing and outright lies" card when something doesnt go his way and he prettu much always sweeps it under the carpet and threathen to ban posters about it.

I'd like to know if we are gonna be uberstrict about rules regarding links to stuff that aint 100% EU related. Why was the gamersHQ announcement thread allowed to be open but recruitment link for this forum wasnt? This site is about EU and GamersHQ isnt.

Now GamersHQ is a dead horse so it feels abit shameful to beat it but you get my point.

I also like the unofficial rule on EF that I am not allowed to be interviewed in any way on a media hosted by 711. Must have gotten under his skin a few times eh?

 

Heehee - I am not really stupid. And my upbringing certainly gives me a clear insight into the nature by which media is used to control the masses etc.

711 has said in this thread that news and info on here that is not on his forum may be freely represented.

The only thing he is against is using his forum to canvas support for another.

The bottom line is that people will go where they feel comfortable. And if Peter and Lykke continue working hard at this forum, I am sure it will do very well. Mindbuster and 711 (and the mods over there) have worked very hard to get EF where it is now. The same for sure can happen here. Always nice to have a choice.

My issue is that 711 claims to "have no problem with anything that is not solely meant to recruit", but the decision what is and what isn't is up to his daily moods - and that he intentionally worded his criteria fuzzy enough bend and twist this how he likes.

Again i ask: what was so wrong about the thread he linked in his first post? Informing people that you can win 1200 PED on EP was labelled as "recruiting only" by 711 in his very first post here - THAT is my issue.

And let's please not splice hairs, what about the PEA forum? What about Justins Radio show? Why are they not "appropriate" if everything but "recruiting only" is fine?

As I mentioned in a post that got locked on EF, he is fine with any links that are to places that conform with the rules of his forum.

PEA and Justins thing he obviously thought did not follow the rules of his forum. Although I have no information on the actual reasons given. Maybe you can enlighten us.

I do understand that there is not a clear set of rules regarding all this. And hence it is subjective as to what is allowed and what is not.

There are links to external sites and articles on EF that are very derogatory to MA etc, but they remain. Yet some milder stuff is culled. I can see the dilema, there are hundreds of thousands of posts, very hard to cull out all the chaff, so just go for the prime targets.

But I am sure that Lykke and Peter are in comms and will come to an arrangement.

Lets just let them get on with it. I am sure they will let us know the outcome :)

Justins, well - imo it is obvious that he wants to force all the radio stations to be hosted by him, according to 711 is is not really EU related or something, maybe ask Justin...

Interpretation of rules based on how hard your defecation was that particular morning is reason enough to call people out in it - and you ask what "my issue" is - the question should be "why DONT you see an issue in this?"!!

Indeed, this forum does allow threads to be made accusing people of scamming without any presented evidence, which goes against EF rules, and as such could be persona non grata on EF.

This is not quite true. While we do have a scammer-section and we do allow people to discuss scams and issues (unfortunately this is a big part of the Universe :( )- we DO ask people to provide whatever they have with valid evidence - otherwise we will have to remove the cases again.

This is only common sense, otherwise people who has something against another person could easily damage that persons reputation only because of dislikes.

 

Actually, your question "what's your issue" implies that you do NOT have an issue with it - and that is one thing that has bugged me a lot in the past - no matter what incredible shit was going on, you always popped in and posted something along the lines of "Relax, there is no problem, move along"... general trouble spotting the problem?
