Uhm, what?! Nevertheless nice with a new lootwindow design even though it looks very very oldschool almost as if it has been found on an old diskette laying around from the good old days...
I...just, no. I get it, it takes money to run a planet. But this planet has a storyline, about a science project, and a First and Second Wave of settler scientists, and it doesn't involve either Autobots or Deceptocons. Immersion-breaking goofy nonsense. IMO.
I mean, they could put the logo of United Health on the graphic for the TT fap or something. Nature Valley Granola Bars wrapper on the Nutrio bars. Something less...implausible.
100% agree. Consistency is king. Before launch I was expecting something in line with David's vision, a continuation of the story introduced in interviews and Next Island Origins. I even supposed NI would be rather adventurous and less grinding MMO. I was really looking forward to it. But then on launch with the ND brand plastered all over the available 'planet' and little to none missions/story, that was a major turn-off for me. I didn't even go there. What do Pirate Skeletons, the ND 500 Raceway, Omega Prime Helmets, etc have to do with all this Elysian background story?
Money I suppose. And yes I agree NI has a long and steep road still to take before it'll become something.
"My name...is Optimus Prime. We have come to this world to collect papoo tails and cans of violet cream paint." If it had those stats my principles would fall away and I would totally wear it.
