Planet Cyrene: Are YOU ready for this from Planet Cyrene?

HOLY CRAP!!! Those would make one hell of a mob train!! Imagine dragging that into a city! LOL :)

On a serious note......
Is that something I am going to need lots of skills to kill?

 

Skills probably less important than teamwork and strategy because these mobs will use the newer type of attacks for example a hit that takes 95% of your hp.

 

LOL I get dibs on the claw!! Now to buy a freazer (L) that will fit the damned thing!!

 

The first planet partner with real storyline missions, can't wait for it to launch!

 

What a truly amazing creature, and when I was chatting with Ed earlier, I told him that I would love to come face-to-face with this monster just to experience the shear terror of its size ... he laughed at me ... probably because he knew that my glance would be fleeting before it was lights out.

One of the major reasons I love working with Cyrene is because I get to be involved with the storyline. I've already mentioned that it goes on forever, which is truly not an exaggeration, and I love how Ed is allowing it to be incorporated in so many ways to reveal the depth and breadth of what the planet is about.

What you are experiencing now, prior to the planet being launched, is an unveiling of certain characters, creatures, items and terrain through the MS9/Senator Calvin Neff covert operations that bring aspects of the planet and its challenges to life, but also exclusive offerings such as this that give a preview of what to expect.

The storyline is very much driven within the game, and will include such activities as the quest lines, events, and role-playing adventures (all with rewards), but I can share that Cyrene storyline will also be offered through other mediums in the future. The possibilities are incredibly vast, and no creative stone is being left unturned. I can only tell you at this point to stay tuned to EP for a continuation of the unveiling of Cyrene until launch when the big reveal becomes a virtual reality ... and then it's on!

To Softy ... admit it, you would rather have this creature in your pet stable, although you might need to do a bit of reconstruction in order for it to fit. Also, I have to agree with Ace ... that it's more than likely going to be about teaming and strategy than level of skills to accomplish this mission. And no, you can't bring any of the other pets you might acquire along the way ... this will take much more than your pet shields to get past.

On a side-note ... just an FYI that Part 2 of "Unfinished Business" was delayed a bit due to time constraints, but we are back on track to getting it published sometime next week. This offering will reveal more about Cyrene which will include exclusive photos and storyline that takes us into the Zekkonian territory. There's a little something special in the action part of the storyline, but I don't want to give too much away.

I hope you'll be filming and photo'ing your mob train events ... or it didn't happen!

While I made reference to the "Female Boss" in the content of the article, I'll have to check further with Ed to see if the female is actually a Boss and a part of the quest line, or if it's just the male Boss. I can see we need to stay on our toes when it comes to you Missy, but you've got a point, because females can be just as kick-ass as males, AND ...

If you notice in the photos that Tass added in his post ... the female appears to be larger and more colorful, so I'm thinking that she could probably chew up and spit out the male Boss like a Cheerio loop.

 

I can't film it, Cryene isn't open yet :)

I admire your feminist side, but ... I wouldn't want all female mob bosses. Perhaps Ed has other ideas for the seemingly larger, more colorfully flamboyant female Terra, like protecting her counterparts from your harassment and abuse, yes?

Knowing you as I do, I actually fear for the revised Taming system to be implemented. I'll have to pow-wow with Ed to make sure we have counter measures where you're concerned. It's not supposed to be this trying!

No joke, I'm all for equality, but not total domination. I like a bit of spice in my life, and I don't think I would be too happy throwing down with all female bosses. Oh, and ... I don't indulge in altering states of consciousness other than meditation and a bit of caffeine now and then. (ok, and maybe a little sumpin' sumpin' when I'm out or entertaining, which isn't too often these days because I'm so busy)

Ha Ha ... I'm in a gated community with over 100 security cameras, so you won't get very far, BUT ... I know one Cyrene creature that will be revealed in the future that I'm sure you may identify with given your propensity to be (well, we won't define that just yet) ... and my Vida character development will be introducing them in the official Cyrene storyline, but you'll have to wait for that. Stay on your side of the bay and we'll get along just fine.

When I became official Cyrene staff after being hired onto the writing team, I discontinued the MS9 Media Facebook page, because it was more "all universe" than just Cyrene of course, but ... I'll give it some thought now that you bring it up to see what I can do with it to revamp it as exclusive Cyrene so that I can keep people up-to-date. I have to admit that I've been a bit lax with my Tweeting as well, so maybe I need to kick it up a notch or two. However, I know that once the planet launches, there will be a massive flurry of activity for sure.
