... at one point in time when there was only the planet calypso the whole game crashed and all servers went down because through a very weird bug an avatar put the complete planet as item into his inventory

 

I have always loved that one LOL .... Gets an email from MA asking if you could please put Calypso back heehee

 

It was possible to drag feffs into the Ft Fury bar where they got really pissed offf that there was no beer. I'm not sure if it is still possible to do this.

 

I heard there was a time when mobs could be killed by drowning and looted ! free peds

Can anyone confirm if this is true or a rumour?

 

Always trying to get something for nothing (sounds like a song lyric ) ... but I think it's just a rumor, because I don't think mobs could ever be looted other than someone killing them and then looting them ... otherwise, think of how many would be leading mobs to water or even turrets.

If that were the case, then I would have made a BUNDLE with this escapade ...

... that someone put the entire world in their avatar's inventory once and it caused the whole game to crash (can't remember exactly when but I read about it in a place or two from a long time before my avatar was born)

... that multiple avatars are not allowed unless you own a bank or happen to have special ability to brown nose MA enough.

... that there was a time when bink video uploads worked...

 

Another one on the something for nothing theme. A song from Rush 2112 album. "You don't get something for nothing, you can't have freedom for free" and so on. A bit strident but since they are one of Canada's greatest bands this is forgivable.

 

I still buy sweat at the same price when I entered the game (about 7ped/1k and about spring '07) but when I say to the new players "trust me on my price" they think I'm a scammer.
