Perhaps this is an old news but I wonder who this guy is. Shareholding of 6,000,000 shares of MindArk sold for around SEK 4kr (0,57 USD) per share Posted by Editor on Monday, August 22, 2011 In: Unlisted In July, were sold through the German bank NF Bank a major shareholding in a total of 6 million shares of MindArk for EUR 2.5 million from what we have experienced. This represents a price per share of approximately SEK 4. The shares, which previously had pledged in the German bank was sold at auction. It is not in the current situation known who shouted into shares, but we assume that there is a buyer outside the known ownership group. When the equity stake is so great we'll have to assume that the new owner chooses to come forward in due course and clarify its ambitions with its ownership of MindArk. The price is almost 2 times higher than that in the latest issue. Google translated: from the original source. http://forextradingworld.info/nyemi...r-aktier-i-mindark-såld-för-ca-4-kr-per-aktie
These are all the shareholder for MindArk on 2011-06-01, but no idea who bought the 6.000.000. Maybe we need to check against the last annual report. Checked and there is no usable info as far as I can tell for last year.
Interesting. 6 Million shares traded at 200% of the former rate between the Annual General Meeting booting Jan Welter Timkrans and the exceptional meeting that got him back. The article could be wrong assuming a buyer outside the known ownership group.... At that rate MA would be valued ~ 47,8 Million Euro and at half that rate ~23.9 Million Euro. While MA themselves seem to value Calypso ~18.3 Million Euro. At that rate 6 Million Dollar would get you 25% of Calypso's revenue via that strange Citizenship program OR ~9.55% of MA while at the 'old' (half the new) rate you would get ~19.1% of MA. And 100% MA get 75% Calypso revenue + 50% of the other planets' revenue (except maybe just 30% of one of those). Interesting, interesting.
Nice find. hm.. my guess, it's Timkrans that have bought more shares, maybe from Hinduja Bank. Timkrans probably got a "scare" of how close he was to loose control and want to secure his ownership. But it only a guess, could be his oppenents or some others.
Sounds plausible to me. Would we find out in the next meeting? would they have to declare their ownership then?
Ok I have found a new interview with MindArk CEO David Simmonds. January 30, 2012 Entropia Universe is developed by MindArk and is a huge hit with many MMO players. We had the opportunity to chat with MindArk CEO David Simmonds about all things Entropia. Read on and then leave us your thoughts in the comments. http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/31/feature/6049/MindArk-Interview.html/page/1
Yeah if they post the protocol from the board meeting, or in the annual report. But thats like a half year from now i guess....
All the documents containing details have been deleted from MA.com after Welter took over again. He seems to be a big fan of a totally silly 'Iron Curtain' policy. So I don't think we will get to know anything happening on future meeting and no list of even the 'bigger' shareholders either.
It is possible to see the whole list of the shareholders at "euroclear". If you live in stockholm or any other city where euroclear have an office you can use thier computers for free (I cant find any fee to it). If you don't use their computer and still want to order/see the whole list of shareholders it will cost you a bit. Expensive as gold imo, it cost 750kr (110$) and a cost for every page. Don't think there is more then one or two pages to mindarks shareholders.
