Whatever you do, DONT abort the Updater!!!!

 

All the download links to the VUs are availabe in Post #6 and updated as soon as i find the time.

Todays update (Update_10.6.1.38964-10.6.2.39088.exe, 104 MB) added to the list.

And i cannot stress it enough, whatever you do, don't abort the updater!

It may appear frozen, but that is only because of heavy disc operations.

If you abort it, you will corrupt the game files and a full reinstallation will be necessary!

 

I have added a lot of old links from VU 10.0.0.28255 on up.

The chain of updates is not yet complete, so for now, just let's hope the client loader starts installing them on its own somewhere down the chain, but if you have trouble, i recommend to start with a clean install starting from the latest full installation listed (10.3.0.36270)

That's some strange error you got there, are you sure you run the client loader with admin rights?

Too low RAM (ho much you have btw?) should slow down things but not cause problems like this...

Please post some more info, which operating system you're running on, how much free hard disk space, what is your current EU version (see version.txt file in the EU folder)?

If your downloaded installation/update file has not the size i've stated below every link in post #6, you are very likely not able to run it.
("This file is not a vaild win32 executable" or similar error message)

This problem has been reported several times now and is a problem with the download server, so nothing you can fix on "your side".

To get the full file(s) w/o problems you might want to use a download manager that supports Resume.

A free download manager can be downloaded here:

It supports Resume and will therefor be able to continue downloading even when have to sop it in between or will eb disconnected from the internet - you can even start several slices of the download simultaneously to obtain maximum speed.


These aborted, only partial downloads can cause other problems, too - i.e. the problems described by Alin above.

If you experience problems like these, please try to download a clean copy with a download manager and retry installing/updating with that before you seek advice here. Thank you :)

there are more than one updates missing from 10.0.11.30729 to 10.3.0.35944 - it will be a lot from what i can say - usually it is enough to download one or two updates to get the client loader download them again, in case you have to do ALL updates, it is better to uninstall entropia completely and start with a clean full installation from here:

This way you avoid all the problems people reported with these dozends of mini updates and the version update to 10.3.0.0 is a FULL installation that replaces every file anyway, so i recommend going for the above linked full installation.

But why does the client loader update not work for you?
It downloads the files from the same locations (unless you use the EP mirror for some files), so it should work the "normal" way.

If the download aborts (results in a file significantly smaller than 3GB) download and install the trial version of GetRight and download it with this to ensure you have the full file.

You can ofc use every other download manager that supports resume, GetRight has just a free Trial and it has been confirmed to work properly, that's why i recommend it.

The installation will automatically fetch the next update when you run it for the first time, make sure you do NOT abort this abdate when it appears frozen!
