    The Beeb has an article on how SWTOR is switching to a free-to-play model, and EU is mentioned in it:

  3. I saw that article too, not bad for EU to be mention there and getting some free promotion.

    I think it will be fewer and fewer games in the future that will be able the have subscription fees, and if they have they will be forced to lower the fees. Subscriptions are not a good solution for games that you just want to play now and then. I stopped playing SW:TOR just because i didn't want to pay the subscription fees for a game i played some few hours each month.

    Wonder if that could increase the number of game developers moving over to EU as a games platform. Well may look increasingly appealing to them due to the high end graphics and RCE aspect allready in place. Intresting line of thought ...
