Hi everyone i am new here. :) I decided to register here because i heard that this forum is truly independent from the higher power of MindArk. Copypasting my support case for you to see and maybe support me a bit in my fight if you feel like doing so.
I would agree except in quoting ToU 6.1 you have giving strong evidence against your own argument. The ped spent was in an auction purchase from another player not directly from MA or a PP. MA has the right to rebalance items as they see fit. You would have a better case if suddenly CLDs were rebalanced at 100ped each. Good luck with the support case though. And yes, I have a broom as well.
The TOU 6.1 says about MA responsibility for providing a secure trading platform "that enables You to carry out secure transactions with others". I agree that it is not the sellers fault that the item got changed, so he or she should not be responsible for fixing what MA broke. Also it is not about their right to rebalance items which they talk about in the EULA "4.2 Changes to the Entropia Universe System" that sounds pretty horrible if you want to invest in any high value items in EU, it is about treating the customer with respect and about making the customer happy or unhappy and capitalizing on that happiness or losing potential money on the unhappiness. It is one of the most basic marketing rules. If you want to sell something you must keep your potential customers satisfied with your services or products.
What this shows is that MA is going broke and is in direr need of money... But for a lot, like me, who would like to spend years in this game spending as much as I can would like to keep these limited items to show off in the future. MA has broken this and probably will piss a lot of people off. BTW, MA how many people who sweat and never deposit bought a broom anyway? And last, MA you doing a great job..so many people not playing the game these days! Keep it up!!
How on earth do you arrive at that conclusion? Isn't it more likely and reasonable they allowed L vehicles not to deteriorate from when they were first introduced but to switch the deterioration element on at a later date. For some L vehicles that seems to be now and for the other L ones it'll probably come with time. Furthermore this broom is a Rocktropia item. Sales of these don't benefit MA but the players who sell them. If you bought one your peds went to the player you bought it from. You could raise the question did RT know these brooms would deteriorate when they introduced them? If so perhaps they should have been more responsible? @Moon Shine I think you make a very good point. You bought this item thinking it would last forever if not used in pvp. MA should have been more clear from the start and should have stated these are L they don't deteriorate now but will do in the future.
Lolz, I didn't think really think they used oil but couldn't think what else ;) BTW - are they faster or slower than a sleipnir and can you attach a space thruster to them :)
Simple put they use magic and a wand and a book to learn the magic thats what they should run on. Oil, so where is the 49cc engine on this broom in the mop area lol.
Smart, that's good - and I bet it's easier to get in and out of small spaces with them. Doesn't matter about no thrusters, suppose it would be a bit far-fetched seeing ppl go through EU space on a broom :)
