Im not sure what your asking.. lol I was just saying that this could lead to a console version, as what Ewok was suggesting that doing a console version of EU would bring in many more people instead of this mobile app. I was saying that the mobile app could just be the first step towards the possiblility of moving towards console.

As for the console to port too, I would suggest the Xbox first then move to PS3, then to Wii U..

 

Console, lol what, You going to open it up to xbox and playstation users now when that day comes this game will be full of kids who will prob form a sweat Box or station

 

Hopefully they bring their parents CC as well.

So after the mobile app VT, MA might reintroduce it on Xbox, PS3, or Wii U. This might bring more players although it wouldn't be 'free to play' through those platforms because MS, Sony and Wii U make their $$$£££ through selling game titles. If it won't be free to play then they can't call it EU because how can you have the original PC version as free to play, but a console one not? So they would have to keep it as VT for mobile and or console, so rebranding.

Lolz. I have a really ancient fixed phone with a cord connected to a socket in the wall. The only mobile I have atm is a mid-00's one that can just about do text and email.

 

anyone else have login issues? I think its my gold card. just takes me back to the user name screen again
got a ticket open for it anyhow. normal entropia log in is fine but I did notice that the card got de synched after using it on the android app. interesting.

 

hmm I had my support case closed and can get in now. The auction doesn't appear to have any data though... ah well, improvements. The rest seemed cool

 

Game works fine on my end no lag no delays.

 

Great app in general, really love it.

I have two issues with it though:

1. For me at least, it often crashes or shuts down either mid use or when i try to start it.
2. It means I am crafting a lot more than usual & its eating all me peds! lol

Otherwise, really well laid out, nice looking and great functionality. One thing I thought might be a cool addition though is if there was an ability to see who's online / be able to chat with your Soc in-game via the app.

 

So you can just craft and not much else? What about hunting mobs and mining? Shame you can't chat to ppl in-game though...

 

Yep, just crafting. But I think that that is OK. I can't really foresee a way in which MA could make hunting and mining possible on mobile devices since they require movement & your attention etc. where as crafting is a static enterprise. I don't know id i'd even really want the game to become entirely available on mobile devices anyway (not that this would even be possible atm, I'm not sure) as I think the repercussions of such a move might damage proper PC gameplay.

Having a chat service however is something that can be done for sure and would be an extremely nice feature since I find that while crafting on the App, I am often bored (and what do I do when I am bored with no PC? Play on my phone, which isn't possible since I'm crafting). Being able to chat to my Soc, even in a basic sense, would be a real nice feature and make the whole experience that much more enjoyable for the player.

There of course would be questions however about what this will show for the PC players. For example, will my name pop-up as being 'online' when I log in via a mobil device? And will I just be able to chat straight into Soc chat, or will it have to be something different? I think Soc chat should certainly be possible, perhaps the log in could read 'Via mobile device' or something...

However it's implemented it is certainly something I think Mind Ark should think about since the social aspect of this game counts for a very large portion of why I play it.

 

Yer, I can see now why it would be difficult to do hunting, mining without a 'normal mouse' and on a small screen, and I agree that MA should have soc chat enabled in the app.
