The devastating impact of the War Titan Typhoon at 00:00.15 UTC August 17th plunged Calypso into dark and uncertain times. The colony was abandoned and survivors of the catastrophe spent years aboard the Exodus space station with a future unknown. Upon returning to the surface, they found a new and unfamiliar Calypso before their eyes; reshaped by the elements, with an incomplete infrastructure, and a new leadership offering hope in their declaration of A Second Golden Age of Calypso to inspire and lift the colonys spirits. And the colony responded. Despite the lack of help from Earth, which itself had fallen into deep financial crisis, hardy survivors and new arrivals began to rebuild their society. Infrastructure and opportunity were steadily reintroduced, markets reappeared, and the social calendar began to bubble. Preparing for new expansion of our frontier, the provisional government announces that the Second Golden Age of Calypso will end directly after the annual Merry Mayhem event at 23:59 UTC on December 30th. I spent countless hours shooting traxes and allos on Einstein's land, and not a single SGA item dropped. I also tried my luck at Daikibas and Berys, bibos at the swamp camp, molisks, and more recently, drones, and nada, zip, zilch. I'm not expecting to deposit before the end of the year, so I guess my SGA will soon end in me just having taken the bait once more, but not actually getting anything for it. Oh well.
