The Dude is a character from the Big Lebowski, played by Jeff Bridges. Fans of the movie have taken it onto themselves to have a yearly "Day of the Dude", where they dress up in shorts, and a bathrobe, drink White Russians and go bowling, like the movie character :) It was just a bit of innocent fun. You might see more of those little events on EP.
I thought it was kinda cool and look forward to seeing whatever other wonky business the admin comes up with - should be quite interesting knowing him.
Well, that's just like... Your opinion, man... : D I pondered tossing in a soundclip from the movie but ran out of time.
