What is with the tags?

Sorry to hear that, Xandra. The main focus of the tags is ensuring that users might be able to find related content faster.

I'll see if the add-on creator would be willing to make it an opt-out system. I realize that's not meeting your demand exactly, but it'd be better than nothing.

 

The requirement to add a tag has been removed quite a while now :) I'll try and see if I can figure out a good way to clean up the non-relevant tags, and thus be left with only those tags that would add value. I hope that, combined with an opt-in/opt-out system will do the trick to make the forum experience a better one.

 

I disabled the tags from showing up in the posts. It is still possible to add tags to a thread, where they will show at the bottom.

I trust this is an acceptable compromise :)
