In an ambition to raise the quality of the colonist experience on planet Calypso, we’re currently messing around with the architecture of the landscape. Where there was sand, there will be blooming deserts. Where there was dirt and water,* there will be white shores and a green sea. And so on, with the expected poetic flair. But really, a thousand words don’t do this justice. I am not that impressed,sure we are seeing progress but the stuff they are bragging about is stuff people coded 3-4years ago in preparations for Crysis
How would you know? If so, that sure doesnt include full implementation, now does it? One thing we cant deny the god-like attatude in the writting style of the article ROFLMAO! "Let there be Light, and there was/will be Light." LOL LOL LOL Telling....how they may see emselves or their self-importance being realy way up there. I remain impressed by the humble and raw tallent tho. Looks awesome for sure. They gotto compete with other planets , me thinx.
Its not MindArk making it look good,its the sandbox editor for CryEngine. There are hobbymodders out there that has done far more goodlooking layouts. Atleast now it seems MindArk has a few people actually giving the editor a try compared to the bad job they made during the conversion
