loot was bad (surprise surprise!) But we had alot of fun even with all the crashes from too many mobs and avatars. Here are some screenshots that skeezer got,
ah ok... hmm i should upload them here :D was lazy and just copied his stuff... will do it in a few when i have time (at work now)
Yer I'm glad you all had a blast as well :) But Saturday 05:00 MA time is still only 1 hour behind current UK time or BST, not 1 day lol.
Here are the images Uploaded here properly so they show :D Thanks to all who joined :) Nexus: I am sorry you were not able to figure out the time zones. It was my hunt and it took place Saturday night. 90% of the players who play during that time period are American or Australian, it took place Saturday night here, and Sunday night in Australia/Asia, and no one else had any problems figuring it out. It is a game played around the world and with so many time zones it can get confusing which is why I gave a # of hours till the hunt several times.
If you say that an event will take place on Saturday 05:00 MA time, then that is what it means, which for me or anyone else in the UK meant Saturday 06:00 because MA time or Swedish/Gothenburg time (same thing) is 1 hour behind UK time, not 1 day. As for people from other parts of the world, what has that got to do with it? And I don't care if it was God's hunt! You can't even give simple directions in a simple way and you can't admit when you're in the wrong - rather you try and save face by making out the other person is in the wrong...
I was quite clear, if you need to continue this conversation then we should request it be split from this thread.
We? Who's we? Saturday 05:00 MA time is not Sunday morning for people in the UK, it's as simple as that! I realize that you are part owner of EP, but I couldn't care less. Do you understand???
Ok, so the original post (post #21) said Saturday 05:00 MA time: which is: * Friday afternoon/night in the US * Saturday very early morning in Europe * Saturday evening/night in Australia After that post narfi corrected and mentioned multiple times he meant: * Saturday afternoon/night in the US * Sunday very early morning in Europe * Sunday evening/night in Australia which translates to: Sunday 05:00 MA time. Just a little confusion, happens when people from all over the world try to play together. Let's forget it. On the wiki there's a page about EU time: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/wiki/EUT The event was for sure fun and a great cheap skilling opportunity for the participants, thanks to narfi.
WOW I am rather shocked at this response. Narfi went out of his way several times to make it clear when the hunt was and even gave a count down! Sorry nexus the only one wrong on this was you. And your response is way out of line.
All I can suggest is that the parties involved in this agree to disagree - and that's the last thing I'm saying on this thread.
Not right now, sorry. From time to time i get a wild hair and do a fun hunt like that, but the 5 months daily burned me (and my family) out so I don't go that hard anymore :P feel free to pm me in game if you ever need help or advice though, I am always happy to help out.
Yep it ended well for me, and is how I won the Mothership MacReady which is the Flagship for our transport/passenger services at EntropiaTransport.com :) You can read about the grand finale to the event here, http://www.entropiaplanets.com/threads/an-amazing-event-thanks-to-all-my-support.7881/
