    The simulation would have a wall there as well and would make you turn. Next it would fool you into believing you only turned 90 degrees when in fact it was a 180. You would never hit a wall, but if a cat were to get in your way... Faceplant would be in your future. ;)

    I had a big chat on friday with a friend about how to make a box that had a moving floor for this sort of thing haha... Its a good question.. I think maybe the best thing might be to have a virtual moving platform in the world and you "step on to" it. You then stand still and where you get off you are facing a wall so naturally you turn round. I don't know what you could get away with eg your idea might work too. I think based on some of the reactions of young kids playing with the occulus when they take it off they seem quite disorientated. So its possible you could get away with turning people around without them realising it.

    The Oculus Rift is just the start and kind of primitive device if you take in mind what they are aiming for.
    Everyone knows the movie The Matrix and the final step making the Oculus Rift prehistoric toy is by-passing our eyes and implanting experiences right into our brains.

    Without getting into it to much it would be for sure the most advanced step into a virtual dimension.
    When you think I am crazy i can say that is true. But just take a look to other crazy people who made this new kind of virtual reality their life work.
