  1. OK whats the deal with the tank? Gay protest against homos in the millitary? Pink Pussycat Panther had a night on the London town? Make love not war? Graffiti artist had no more extra colors in stock?
Female tank-unit? A promo for female undies for men in the millitary?

    Sundsvall alias Punksvall.
    Home of

    and :headbang:

We also made a shitload of Absolut vodka.

Sundsvall was founded as a fisher town in 1621 and was the first industrial city in Sweden, but ppl have been living at the location since 400-500 AD.

The city has burned down and been rebuilt four times. The first time, in 1721, it was set on fire by the freakin Russian army before we kicked their asses back to russia during the Great Northern War. The last fire, in 1888, was the largest in Sweden's history. It is presumed that the fire was caused by a spark from a steamship. After that fire, the city centre was rebuilt only with stone buildings. Sundsvall's centre is therefore nicknamed Stenstaden (the stone city).

Now PPL in Punksvall mostly work in paper industry, IT/telecom, insurance or banking. We have the only permanent drag racing strip in Sweden and a shitload of nice girls:naughty:. We also have the annual Gatufest where the whole town is turned in to a street party with loads of beer and music. There is about 100+k ppl living in Punksvall

For some reason I dont know we have a dragon as the symbol for the town, in the summer the city is full of statues of dragons
    [IMG]
AND we have the Swedish champion basketball team Sundsvall Dragons.

no deal as far as im aware. though a bit of make love and a bit of thats what the graffiti arstist had. its funny that you ask whats the agenda with the paint: my first question was what the fuck is a tank doing on a random patch of grass in the middle of London :umn:
though i knew it before it was pink and just down the road is the Elephant & Castle shopping centre which was pink up until about 10 years ago. so to me the colour has not been the most striking thing about about it.

Water and over flooded places or not, you live on a beatiful spot on Earth! View must be stunning when you get up in the morning!

wow a real party town :D and in sweden hahah How far up is it in Sweden? Far from Danish Helsingr ??? ;)

  5. gotto love the Irony tho. looks like the Londen gay pride parade took a wrong turn into the wrong neigbourhood.

I am sure it serves as a landmark alone.

Goreon May the HOF be with you!

Africa is pretty cheap for most foreign currencies ;) (except maybe the flight :headscratch:)

  7. When I was in SA for 12 Months in 2004, I did shopping at Pick&Pay. When you do the currency exchange math, the prices are exactly the same in SA as in Europe. Sadly there are no laws in SA that protect a fixed minimum income for employees, people are extremmelly exploited and underpaid. Thats explains for instance why peops starve in that country of abundance. refered to as the great opression of classes.

Thats why I live in Holland, I have a life here that I can never build up in one lifetime in SA.

There are some things cheaper for tourists , not comodeties.

Only a select group of peops with fixed contract jobs in large companies in SA recieve the same salary scale as peops in EU and US. Very difficult to get in, SA is big on Varsety degrees and over education for job possitions LOL. Daylaborers are screwed tho.

Maybe I have to plan a trip to Vienna in Summer to go to the Strandbar, mostly I have been visiting in January I think :dancinggirls:

  9. isnt the masked Carnival the most famous event in Vienna?

mabe I am confusing Vienna with Vennice here.

RAZER Custom title ... uh ...

About the only city people know from my country is Amsterdam, but Rotterdam, the second city, is a lot less known. Well I’m from that city

During the second world war the Germans bombed Rotterdam and almost all of the city center was destroyed.

Of course this was a tragedy when it happened, but it gave the city the oportunity to redesign itself and become the most modern city in Holland.

It is pretty hard to name 1 or 2 things that attract people to Rotterdam, I think it is the package. We have great modern architecture and almost anything is possible in that area in Rotterdam. We also have the buisiest harbor in the World and people come to Rotterdam to see that.

The last couple of years there has been a big improvement in the area of restaurants, clubs and museums. We have a lot of restaurants now and you can eat about anything you want here. We also have some of the best clubs in Holland now and some well known big museums and a lot of small galleries to.

One other thing is all the big activities we have each year in Rotterdam which attract millions of people to the city every year. Some of them are:

    Formula 1 City Racing
    [IMG]

    Dance Parade
    [IMG]

    Summer Carnaval

Wrong. And that's enough off-topic from me.

  16. Vain arrogance neither impress nor convince me. Bussiness owners and upper to middle class peops in SA do underpay and exploit employees in that way. Pls dont try, I walked that road already. Unless things have changed since 2004.

Fact is I used to be a Spur Waiter for many years and many different spurs. No sallary. just 3-4 % commision on what you sell and tips. No light work either, for what? Peanuts!

Shadowsong, you may be upper to middleclass and rich according to SA standards, explains that comment.

Shinobi, one time more - please stay on topic. We have other things to do than to delete stuff which doesn't belong and it's not really fair towards people who are following the threads and replying to that.

    Thanks.
