This just in! Planet Toulate has been confirmed. It will launch shortly after the Cyrene "Hard Launch". Good news!

 

Well, first quarter of 2014 started already. 90 days and 5 of them passed by already ;-) I am curious about it!

Hopefully I can buy a house there and furnish it with oriental items! And can RECLINE (MA! Do you listen?) at my divan.
Pssst ... I would like to own a harem with 3 or 5 men ... ;-)

 

Probably this will be a first class chance to learn more about arabian mentality, won't it? What do you folks think? Would you accept other rules if you want to live there?

I'm curious too Jamira, and I'm hoping that Toulan is still a go, because I think it would be quite interesting to see where they take it based on the platform tools they have available to them and what MA would allow. I hope they have the freedom to present the planet in the way they would like to.

I think it's a good thing for us to be exposed to other cultures and learn how people live in other parts of the world. That's what I really enjoyed about the global-diversity of our universe, that we hail from so many countries, and no matter how challenging communicating was at times, we were still able to connect and have a level of respect and understanding.

It would also be nice to hear from Farah soon.

 

Toulan would be the most exciting experiance to me. My sister handed over a friend from Egypt (living in Cairo) to me. That was during the revolution in Egypt two years ago. We talked a lot with him at this time. And me and Kristin learned a lot about this other culture. It was like a present. But it was only one guy. It would be better to have a wider community from there! I would appreciate it.

Well, I could be the executioner (with my blade) when it comes to behaed women who betrayed there husband or driving a car ...

 

Yeh I'd like to visit Toulate. I think its an original idea and should be a lot of fun to explore. I'm hoping for some good stories and interesting items and hopefully some sort of non tight fitting clothes.

I bring exciting news though, Toulate will feature pets so will therefore arrive very soon after the taming update which is currently on paper.

I currently live in the UAE. It does require a certain shift in mindset, but I've certainly lived in far worse places. And it's by far the safest place I've ever lived, provided you respect the culture and the rules. I've heard good things about Jordan too, although I haven't visited yet.
If Toulan is marketed correctly it could potentally turn this game around, there are oceans of disposable income in this region.

 

Are you sure your avatar will be able to go there? Remember back when CRD was under development, I believe it was only going to be open for new Chinese residents or something like that.

"Toulan/Toolate/Toloose"...all this speculation...we know nothing about it, except that it will be the 1st arabian mmo, developed in the arabic world...w00t(!)...and Entropians start to dream and share their imaginations. As always. ;) But ok, lets keep hope alive (this time). Just like with RT, NI, Cyrene, Calypso etc. etc. etc.
