  1. Planet Calypso Affiliate Program - Official?

  2. That is not a official site. Beware

DO NOT LOG INTO THE SITE BEFORE SEEING ANYONE OFFICIAL SAYING ITS REAL

  3. The link aint posted by a MindArk/FPC person and the emails etc on the site does not lead to a MA/FPC adress

    Legal information

    I would be very cautious

  4. Getting paid to recruit people and have commission based on how much they are spending sounds like pyramid scheme doesnt it?

So if the program is real, its on thin ice

  5. And there is no gambling in EU neither

    Will remove link on OP

Doesn't say based on what the new avatars are spending, only based on average spend of current participants. They are not recording each avatars spend and offering a percentage of it

  6. Well I cant say 100% that its a false program but it sure does look like it. I would assume a affiliate program would be hosted on a mindark/planetcalypso.com adress and not .eu and/or people behind it having a @mindark email.

I think I might try signing up on it on a alt adress and see what it wants for info at signup. Maybe it collects email adresses and password so they can search your account for the EU first signup email. When I started for instance the username and password was emailed to me and wasnt something that could be chosen.

Could be its trying to snatch login info that way

Also if you whois that website it goes to a private registrar not sure any of the other mindark addresses are private

  8. Looks like they sub contracted it out. Will ask in support case

  9. The Terms of Use on the site is full of spelling and grammar errors

A example is "The affiliate associate agrees to keep his access data confident" ...I mean..come on...

  10. I am not here to promote or defend this, the title banner on its home page has a spelling mistake which i included in title of thread

    Just posting link from ef

  11. Its genuine but very selective at the moment in choice of partners.

OP edited with link again :)

  12. Don't be stupid, what this site promises is a share of the revenue of new players... if MA would ever do this they'd immediately announce it to the players - after all this would advertise this new program at no cost.

However, domain names registered under the same name but a different top level domain serve only one purpose: To make it look like an official thing while in reality it is everything but official (read: hoax/rip-off/scam/attention whoreing for whatever reason).

  13. Says who:whiner:

Edit: Seems that site is actually "official". Got reply within 1 hour of making the query

I removed the links from the thread. This smells like a pyramid scheme, and EVEN if MindArk supports the idea (which I somehow doubt, sinze pyramid/ponzi schemes are illegal), it's against our forum rules to post links to pyramid schemes.

  15. MA Support and pm from Frank on EF.

Agree with admin about pyramid scheme similarities but is that not EU?

  16. ye casino it is, with a lot more dress-up.

I think the fundamental/legal difference is that ponzi schemes promise ridiculously high payouts based on your own entrance fees, while in this case, it's promising something similar based on other people's entry fees.

My guess is that's how MA thinks they can avoid it being identified as a pyramid deal, but I'll disagree with that, and stick to my judgement. This kind of stuff will not be promoted on our forum.

  18. Thats why I like Pete and Lykke:loveshower: Too proffesional a forum for that kinda nonsense eh:)

  19. The site is full of typical pyramidscheme talk

Here comes the numbercrunching. I have seen stuff very similar like this before and it seems fantastic doesnt it!:yay:
FYI they are counting every active participant to spend 20$ a month in average
