MindArk is mentioned as well in the sidebar listing Chinese investments in Sweden:

  2. Has this anything to do with CRD-Planet? Sorry, swedish lingo dont enlighten me. I mean any Chinese Progress at developping the planet whatsoever? Any other press releases? Pics?

  3. No, it only mentions chinese investments and nothing about MindArk or the planet

    Intresting article though.

Always good to see some confirmation from different sources then mindark themselfs.

  5. Too sad, O hum sigh! What can you tell me about "DotMan"? Is this a personality ingame, propriator perhaps?:dunno:

  6. I think it was some project they had to enforce chinese laws in onlinegames. There are tons of restrictions on MMORPG's in China. WoW has altered content on the chinese contents since its illegal to depict undead people and stuff like that.

Another mmo was forced to have all female avatars connect on webcam to moderators/admins of the game so they could confirm the avatar ingame had the right sex irl..its illegal to be a man playing as a woman apparently.

Which is also kind of funny since alot of the chinese hardcore players are men playing as women

  8. Very informative. And what Sky says. But still....who the hell is Dotman?

  9. Misspelled as Mind Ark and no info about them what so ever. Thats pretty much worthless in terms of creating a interest for the game

I found it on MA's own website :D Didn't see it elsewhere before, and considering we do have this sub forum, I figured it'd be a nice addition.

You're right, though. It's more of a general article about how awesome Sveedun is then specific about MA, but I guess they figured they'd post it since their name is mentioned.
