I still think threads about EU strikes etc, are dumb, and frankly few ever take them seriously.

TBH I have'nt played much myself in awhile, for exactly the reasons Lykke posted in the opening post. I can't add anything, as she summed it up very well. Sometimes I log in to catch up with friends, but frankly actually "playing" EU these days is a waste of time and money IMO.

But i'm also not going to bother doing 75 posts a day trying to get people to agree with me. It's not really my thing. But hey, if it's does it for you, go for it. I have no wish to argue it with you. ;)

Mostly what I wanted to comment on was the "Strike strike strike" thing.......i'll never fly in EU imo.

I totally agree with the OP. The game has pretty much lost its fun for me and everytime MA implements something its just another way for them to get more money from us.

I didnt play much for a few weeks after losing alot on last deposit and i have deposited ALOT over the almost 5 years ive been ingame, but i decided to see if my luck had changed so i deposited 2k peds.... I lost it all hunting for 2 days and i had 1 global of 70 peds in team on longtooths... Thats utter BS!!!

Im sure my avatar is jinxed because everyone else around me and their mother was globalling on the same mobs i did but i just couldnt.

I fear that more and more people will leave if the cost to play doesnt decrease or we will just have a bunch of very angry people using PE as a chat.

What the F can we do to make MA understand this?? When i started you could hunt for a few weeks on 500 peds, now you need 500 peds on every hunt or you will lose your pants without a global or HoF...

Fed up as hell seeing the "game" i used to love go down the drain because of greed!

 

All of this is in some way true, but I want to point something out.

MA managed to implement a completely new system, not "only" a tweak to existing stuff, no.
New items (and a lot at that), new skills and alteration of many existing items to have individual tier statistics.
The ammunition system was completely revised.

All of this with only one truly bad bug being to forget to alter the ammunition amounts for loot.
And this was fixed in less than a days time and even tentatively spoken about by MA as possibility on a public forum.

One may whine and moan and bitch as much as one want about the way the system works, about the usual sparse explanations of how its supposed to work and so on.

But hands down I have to give it to MindArk that this was the smoothest and most well performed implementation of a new system I've seen them conduct until now.

Yes I am pretty sceptical about the system itself, but I am starting to see some professionalism from MA finally and this in itself gives me quite some hope.

Youre better of in Vegas man. You have casinos and you also get fixed-gambling. Mindark and PE fall in the latter cathegory. When Support Dept , type the word "dynamic", you should have a mindview of a person/s, sitting at a desktop, deciding who gets what, when and how. This goes especially for Hofs, and ATHs.
Do you realy believe a company, like MA, leaves things like that up to chance alone? LOL You can bet , in the least, that the "Dynamics" are tweakeable.

There is no fairness and righteousness in corruption, yet largelly practiced. Favoritism is also a human thing.

A lot of old globals were deleted from the tracker database by accident recently - citing ET is unreliable at best.

Moreover, i have sometimes weeks w/o a single global, but if get lots of minis (20 or 30 pedder) i can't really say that loot is bad, so even the loot total doesn't have a real meaning anyway...

Then... with 20 bucks/month you're hardly skilled enough to hunt trox efficiently, FAP&armor decay will empty your ped card in a wink - for Atrox young i'd say you need at least level 15 Evader.

And last but not least, if you spend your deposits on gear, clothes and stuff like that you cant expect that MA will give you globals for that cash.

 

I had about 60-70k ped tt of globals fall of EntropiaTracker. Luckily I havent used that site for months besides looking at how much info it misses.

Also remember that EntropiaTracker gets their info via chatlog and contrary to what StarFinder says he doesnt delete the logs but they get saved for months and months on his server

 

ET missed (pretty exactly) every second global i get, whereas chainfires tracker did never miss a single global - ET is useless with so many missing records anyway.

I don't really get that bit, why should it matter if he keeps the logs?
(And i doubt he has the clients send the entire logs anyway)

 

You know what would solve everything? Make money for Mindark to support the game and give the players more incentive to build an economy?

It's very simple actually. Just implement a tax rate on player-generated revenues.

I might be nuts but that is really a simple solution. Cities, countries, they based on that. Trade, etc. the list goes on an on.

 

Just get bashed by Marco on EF ... Because I dont like the "LOLworkLOL" of my fellow community patriots ...
