Entropia Universe: A pretty Penny (Universal Ammo) for your thoughts!

Yeh Tass you have a point. I like they are asking people to write about Entropia so +1 for that but the depo 100usd to win 100usd is kinda... well it is a thinly veiled attempt to get people depositing more, simple as that.

There are only 5 winners too in each category. Odd's of being selected are slim.

Now having said all that I will now put my cynical hat on. (yes believe it or not it wasn't on up to this point).
Essentially MA are offering to pay £5.83 to 5 people for some copy writing work. 55 minutes worth of work to be precise assuming we use the UK minimum wage for over 21s as a guideline. RL copy writers are probably on more than that but we'll ignore that for the moment.

So essentially you have less than an hour to bang out your best bit of work to make Entropia sound great and for your time there is a very slim chance MA will pay you for it, alternatively you can give them £58 in the hopes of winning £58 (admittedly though this cash is yours to spend in game and you could even withdraw it later). Not a great deal if you put it that way anyhow ;)

Anyway all that said, I'll have a go but won't be depositing (like I would ever put $100 in in one go; never have done; likely never will). I'll be doing so cause I love Entropia and want to promote it. A prize would be nice but actually I think I'd have preferred they didn't do one and left submissions only to those who care to submit them. Could have always done a unannounced prize afterwards. I think that would have been better actually as this way they will get less submissions but probably higher quality ones cause only those who really care would bother.

Anyway that's my two pec ;) Now to decide what my most epic moment was.... hmmm... would be pretty dull to talk about big loots (and I hardly ever had any anyhow). Off the top of my head mine would maybe be one of the following

• First time I killed an umbranoid (using a tower! - I was so proud)
• The day Az slashdotted Entropia following CND sale and oranges were dropping like rain (that was great)
• Exploring the Mountain Ridges of Thule and watching the sun rise
• First night clubbing at Rocktropia - great atmosphere
• My friend making me a sword as a present (even though he couldn't craft for toffee)
• Learning to fly before vehicles (both times)
• First time I crewed a mothership and all the consoles were exploding like in startrek
• The day everyone started attacking NPC's cause they discovered no decay skilling
• Early days of everyone sweating diripii's in the hills north of Camp Phoenix
• Having friends lend me clothes I could never afford and trusting me to give them back
• When someone came up to me in game randomly and told me how much they loved my stories
• Receiving recognition from Marco for my work in Calypso Post
• Being featured in the MA promotional video
• Having one of my screen shots used on the MA promotional stickers
• A friend giving me an apartment, specifically that they'd put a picture I used in one of my stories on the wall.
• The time I discovered how to crash a server area

Hmm well that was a quick brain dump. Looking, these are mainly fond memories more than "epic moments" and a lot of them relate to non-game things or bugs.... and I somehow suspect MA won't want me writing about that awesome time I managed to "pond skip" my way into orbit ;)
