I want the same thing and my belief is that can be achieved by ensuring that posts in threads be reasonably on topic. Like I said, I don't mind when someone makes me a lightning rod for their personal issues or conjures up a personal issue with me in a public forum. Pixelated people on the internet don't affect my day and the back and forth is boredom control for me while at work, and I suspect it's entertainment for them as well.

What I'm saying is that the silent majority who reads the forum often hesitate to post when they are going to have to quibble with people who have nothing better to do then go on off topic frivolous rants.

Actually, if I thought you were actually being serious and not just trolling for people to engage you i'd give you an honest opinion. But your reputation is well known...in game and out.

Seeing as how this forum consists of many people whom I've had to boot from a society due to their inability to get along with others, its no surprise why a few here don't like me.

As far as my reputation in game goes though, how could you possibly know? After all, you don't actually play the game... you just troll the forums and act like you know everything.

Despite the dysfunction you bring to this forum, maybe in part because of your dysfunction, I do want to have a discussion about what people think is an appropriate amount of moderation.

Between this thread and the other thread, your posts combined when copy and pasted into MS Word amount to nearly 4000 words... Thats 10 pages in 12 pt Times New Roman font... which is beyond excessive to say the least.

In all those long winded posts are nothing but endless unsubstantiated attempts at character assassination and your entire argument can only be summarized as follows.

1. I have no right to voice my opinion
2. I have no right to share my side of a story
3. I have no right to defend myself
4. I have no right to raise awareness of problems

The fundamental core belief of this forum seems to be promoting the freedom of speech on all topics related to the Entropia Universe and those who play it.

Despite all of that, threads in this site get more than their fair amount of views.. but for whatever reason, the vast majority of people remain silent. Maybe thats because this forum has become nothing but a breeding ground for forum trolls, PCF rejects, and also people who don't play EU.

In that kind of environment, why would anyone who is Entropia Universe "Fan Based" want to participate?

It's not partially their forum, it IS their forum

It's not your place to be the forum warrior / keyboard commando. You ended up becoming what you thought you were attacking.

What you don't realize is that a certain individual with a blog actually started with me on another forum, which then drew me here to this forum on the topic of slanderous blogs run by people who don't even play the game. As far as I know, my conduct was within the boundaries of the established rules of this forum... I made my points and moved on.

Then on a separate issue, due to moderation choices, PCF is no longer a viable place to share names of people who are kill stealing and harassing in-game.

Like every year with migration, Kill Stealing is actually a wide spread problem that a lot of people are experiencing from various individuals. This year for the first time we have Young and Mature Longtooth which opens the door for a lot of lower skilled people to participate, a lot of whom simply don't know how to act in thick spawns amongst numerous other hunters. As a result, I singled out the most egregious offender that I experienced in order to raise awareness of his actions as well as the broader problem as a whole.

If you want to discuss whether or not Kill Stealing is competitive game play, despite the fact that the majority of the active player base views it as harassment and/or an exploit, then that's perfectly acceptable, after all this is a public forum that celebrates freedom of speech.

The reality is that you weren't discussing that and your posts were nothing but off topic unfounded personal attacks all because you decided to be a keyboard commando.

Now here we are in this thread, with even more of your posts removed and now edited, with you causing even more work for the mods, and doing what you can to prevent on-topic dialog while you demonstrate over and over that you are either unwilling or unable to follow the rules on the most laid back and unrestricted forum in all of EU.

I shouldn't need to say this, but please don't take this post as a personal attack, I'm simply talking about your most recent actions.

"Embellished barrier" is again another personal attack.

You would get more direct replies from me on your specific points if you did that less. Moreover doing it more sparingly would increase the effect and weight of your words.

I'm about to pass the 10 year mark playing EU and for many of those years I built and ran the largest organization of societies in the history of this game, at it's height it was 11 societies and over 750 combined members. Now don't mistake that as me claiming to be something special, the reason I bring it up is because being in that position required me to diffuse numerous inter-society personal disputes between people on a daily basis which often required me giving instructions to boot one or more people nearly every day. Needless to say, that made me a target. Plus whenever one of those 750+ people did wrong to someone outside of the society who do you think had to deal with that? I did. Whenever someone who was booted decided to have a tantrum on a public forum, who do you think had to respond to it? I did. Because of those reasons alone, regular gameplay was impossible for me, there just wasn't enough hours I the day. Society management was a 40-50 hour per week job, plus I worked a full time job in real life.

On top of all that, whenever one of our members was wronged or scammed by someone, who do you think they went to for recourse, MindArk? No, that was me too.

It's safe to say that I've also busted and removed more scammers from this game than nearly anyone else. Remember when a group of people in that one famous top-soc got scammed for a total of 500k PED of items? Who do you think flushed out the scammer behind it all? That was me.

Remember that guy from Croatia who found a security policy loophole that if exploited would allow him to close and delete any Entropia Universe account even if the person had a Gold Card? He charged 10k PED for his services. Well I busted a scammer that stole from a friend and society member so for revenge he hired that person to close my account. Well that turned my sights on him and the result of it is that I uncovered all of his avatars, all of his forum accounts, and I posted on YouTube a recorded telephone conversation where he identified himself, his avatars, his forum accounts, and confessed. It was all over the forums. Now as a result, if you ask MindArk to close your account and delete your avatar, they will require that you verify your identity as the account holder first.

MA even mailed me some Atrox and Hogglo toy figurines as a thank you.

I did all those things and a lot more not because I'm attacking people but because I have been defending myself, my friends, and my society... So going forward get your facts strait, or at least reference any specific incident and I can enlighten you.
