I just installed windows xp pro onto my macbook pro via boot camp. My system meets all of the requirements, but i get an error. "An error occurres when trying to download a file. entropia_universe_10.3.0.36270_setup.exe" What do i do?!?
Download the setup directly, not via client loader. Go here: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4356#post4356 all you need (the full installation is the link marked red) - if you got a slow or unstable connection maybe consider installing i.e. getright or a similar program that supports resuming of stopped/aborted downloads, it is almost 3 GB. If the direct link doesn't work try the fix posted in th same thread in posts #1 & #2
It still doesnt work for me *i have the antivirus desactivated* and it still says it isnt a valid win 32 aplication and when i try to install it from the planetcalypso page it says an error ocurred when downloading a file entropia_universe_10.3.0.36270. Any ideas how to fix it. Thanx in advance
The client loader has problems with the download as it has obviously a wrong URL - don't use it. The full download IS a valid win 32 application, if it doesn't work it is either your system or the .exe is somehow altered during download. (i.e. by an anti-virus program) Have you deactivated the anti-virus software and THEN RE-DOWNLOADED the entire file? If it still doesn't work... well, entropia isn't intended to run on a mac book anyway - do you meet all the hardware requirements?
