OK now you all have been a bit getting used to this new Tier thing, I have a question for ya. Will a gun with a high Tier Increase Rate be more expansive then one with a low TIR.

    Example:
I have a Emik S30 with an average TIR on all 10 tiers of 1000. When I look in the auction the averge there is 100 or less. Will this make my S30 more expansive then a "normal" low one??

With the 1000 TIR I went from 0.0 to 3.5 Tier in about 20 minutes hunting Daiki's so it does make you increase Tier a lot faster.

    your thoughts please.

i think the L items are supped to have a factor of 10 greater tiering rate. i ssuspect your looking at a L compared to unL or a bugged item. it has been noted on EF, some seem to have rolled L numbers for unL (or the other way round, cant remember)

actually scratch that, i just think some have rolled a super bonus. just looked through my inventory and all the L stuff has lower tier rates. which is why at first i thought lower was better. you got lucky.

anyone wondering what their avatar rolled?

  3. Pretty much all my unlimited gear average 120-140 tier when it comes to my armors, guns and fap (fap-5)

With that said I have only gained 0.1 on my gremlin gloves the last 2000ped of hunting and nothing on the rest of the set. I've also fapped 5ped with the fap5 in between kills to level it up and it has 150 in first tier rating and I am quite sure I am not even at 0.1 yet..I could be but dont remember to be so

I think it is TIR and (L) or uL. So the same number on an (L) weapon goes a lot faster then on a uL one. And as far as I have seen the 1000+ on my S30 is the highest on that gun so far.

Maybe we could keep track on the TIR in the wiki and add a max. and min. TIR to it??

  5. As far as I can tell, TIR seems to be like SIB.

People can, and no doubt will, spend a lot of time worrying about it and wasting money on it, but it has almost no effect.

  6. Lies. I've tested a few 1500+ guns and it is not uncommon to increase in tier 3-5 times on 10shots.

Also bought a UR175 today with TIR 500ish and I was at tier 0.5 after 10first clicks. Slowed down after that but I had 1.6 after 8ped decay

  7. Will higher TIRed items be more expensive? I'm counting on it ;)

  8. On Unlimited, yes I can see that but not much much I think. On Limited I dont really think so because it will break in a day or 2 anyway.

I personally only see high TIR being desirable on PVP gear so you can hunt alittle with them and level them up to tier 2 or 3 and then stick some damage enhancers into it for higher end pvp such as Landgrab or lootable zone action

  9. Ok, I see it exactly the other way around :)
An UL item you can repair, so it doesnt matter that much how fast you tier it up. To get the best out of an L item tho, it needs high TIRs to make it possible.

  10. I still can't work out what's going on with it, but it might be that to notice any real difference you need those very high 1000+ ones. I don't think I've used anything with those extreme TIRs yet.

I've had stuff at 70 TIR going quicker than stuff at 150 TIR so at lower levels I think it's pretty meaningless.

In most cases it probably won't help anyway because I doubt (sensible) people will be using any enhancers for normal hunting.

And for unlimited stuff it's irrelevant because, like Nebu says, it doesn't really matter how long it takes. I got my unlimited Mina to 0.9 within 5 hours and that has a quite low TIR, so it seems clear to me that for unlimited items the hard (expensive) part is the upgrade itself, not getting to the point where you can do it.

  11. I second this ;p
