Suddenly Hurrikane popped up and quickly the new WoF starts - lol!

It's a bit hasty. Two days left only meanwhile until the Qualifying Heats will start. So I post a screenie of my WoF-scoresheet beta here for now. I will finish and test it tomorrow and load it up here than. It'll be a 2003 Excelsheet - so it should be usable for everyone who wants to use it.
It is a slightly modification of Mack's old scoresheet from 2012.

It would be very kind if someone could put a link to this thread to the WoF judge tread at PCF.
    http://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/f...266004-*WoF-Judge-Sign-Up-Thread*-JOBS-VACANT!

Please keep in mind, that it'll be still beta. So additional "pen & paper" - as Hurrikane suggested - seems to be a good choice!

[RAZER] per request from Jamira I added her Excel sheet to this post

    UPDATE!
    2014-10-17
Mack posted his adjusted scoresheet at PCF meanwhile. So there is no need for using my "beta" - wich was meant for the case we don't have a scoresheet at all. Although my one looks way better (see below) ;-)

Well, it's done. I made the WoF 2014 Scoresheet (beta). But I cannot upload a file ... did I violate any restrictions? And no one helped with posting a message at the PCF Judges Thread about this issue. I am disappointed.
But okay, I can find another way without Entropia Planets ...

I did not see your request to post it on PCF, but now you are done with the sheet I can if you like

It seems you can not post an xls file here, Zip it an it should work.

No, when I click on "Upload a File" nothing happens. I just paste&copy the picture above, didn't upload it. But this doesn't work with my Excel-sheet. But I will try paste&copy with a ZIP-file.
    ...
No. Doesn't work. But okay, I will send a direct mail to Hurrikane. Thanks so far.

Are you blocking popups or javascript or something ?

Of course! I block everything meanwhile. What do I have to do to be able to upload files to EP?

Well, mail sent to Hurrikane with the Excel-sheet. But probably he'll lie down drunk until tomorrow 11.
Do we have any quicker solution to offer my Excel-sheet to other judges?

I just wanted to help to run one of the biggest Planet Calypso events. I still love Hurrikane's WoF. And although I cannot participate in a team for hunting anymore, I can help out with judging as I did during the former six WoF events - right from the beginning, including occasionally running matches when Hurrikane wasn't able to log in for different reasons - especially at Sunday mornings ;-)
Rayane Jade is gone, Mack popped up for a glimpse and didn't show up again. Hurrikane suggested to use pen & paper like we did in 2006 - or was it 2007?... and Kettenhund Serica gives a warning to RAZER to remove my name from a post at PCF were he posted a hint to my Excel sheet, wich is intended to ease the work of the WoF-judges. Just for keeping the rules. Brave, Serica! You took away the last illusions of having fun in Entropia Universe or to put in any engagement. Well, I am old, but not too old to be unable to learn.

It's not about Entropia Universe, not about bugs and broken promises. It's just about this fury Serica (from Australia if I remember right). She alone did a really great job to destroy the fun I've had before. Crazy, but it is really one person! It's not MA - lol! It's Serica. But okay. I guess MA gives a shit on me after nearly nine years of playing their game and depositing regulary.

I know, I'm not welcome. But I will give it a last try. I was hardly thinking about this issue. Than RAZER popped up and kept me in - at the last second. Such (sometimes brave and sometimes strange) folks were the soul of the game once! Thank you for your help, RAZER.

1st post updated. We got an adjusted scoresheet from Mack at PCF. We all should better use the same scoresheet. Better if we are in need to compare resultes. So use Mack's scoresheet instead of my "beta".

Sorry Jamira, I've only just read this thread, otherwise I would have done so for you like I did last time

  14. Funny to see the potential coming up in a old player at the right circumstances.
    Nice work Jamira!

Well, WoF was one of the spiky essentials for me for so many years. Finally I was member of the winning team DACH in WoF 2012. No wonder I like it. But tbh ... I was happy when my help wasn't needed today although we had seven teams out there. The game crashed after asking Hurrikane and there was no need for log in again.
Whisper: My new house south of Windhelm in Skyrim was calling ;-) I have some slaves there and its a pretty nice and cosy place :-)

All in all I am happy for Hurrikane that WoF finally became official. And I am happy about so many old and new folks who are ready to help with judging - a bit of the old spirit. WoF deserves it!

Well, that was an amazing start at last weekend. Poor Hurrikane managed to take part in all scheduled and not so scheduled events. Finally he was really tired ;-)

It took a short time only to become familar again with the old feeling of being bored for three hours each time again. But we had all the jokes and funny smalltalks too. This time WoF seems to have a much larger pool of judges than all WoFs before. Old folks and fresh blood. A good mixture! I think last year's break (no WoF 2013) was good for WoF all in all.

I was lucky enough to be judge in a really significant match: Sweden/Poland. Sweden - as expected - with a well-trained Main team and massive support by three teams. Support was capped at 100 points long before the match ended. Finally they got Varity Bonus. The Main Team was unlucky compared to former results. But at the end they all together got one of the best results of the weekend.
Vice versa Poland. After years of absence we welcomed a Team Poland again. But what a start! Three Main Team members only and no support! And they didn't get a single global during the first hour. They didn't get a single global during the second hour. But they didn't give up. Eventually they decided to send one or two of the Main Team to form a Support Team. (Sweden's support was already capped if I remember right.) And finally - really during the last 30 minutes - they got three globals on support mobs. I say: Hats off! Hopefully they will stay in WoF and get another chance next weekend and better luck.

We had two winners in that match: one winner of points and one winner of the hearts. That's the spirit! I would join Team Poland if I could!

As far as I know from previous WoFs it'll go like this:
18 teams survive the Quaiyfiers (it's unlikely that six further teams will sign in until Friday). Then we will have 6 groups of 3 teams for the quarterfinal. Each team has to compete with both other teams of the group (18 matches). Each winner will survive and reach the semifinal: 3 groups with 2 teams (6 matches). The 3 winners are the finalists and have to compete in one last and final match.

So we are looking forward to 25 exciting matches again after the Qualyfiers!

Damn, I wish I could participate! There are several teams out there I would like to support: DACH - of course (but tbh - they don't need my help. They are strong enough). BeNeLux comes to my mind. They spent a lot of effort (and money) into WoF during the last years. They always had good teams and really deserve a price. Finland with good old friends from the past (Hunters Unlimited and such). In generally I would tend to support small teams. But hey! I don't have serious gear anymore - neither weapon nor armour, no TP-chip ... nothing ... just jeans and an old WoF-jacket, sunglasses and - believe me or not - my very first blade: Katsuichi Valor from 2005 - lol! And 5 PED on my PEDcard.

I think I will stick with judging. Probably wait until MA knock at my door and say: "Hey, we've changed our mind and policy. Have a look at the new Entropia Universe. Probably you will like it." Probably I would. But I doubt it.
