Creature data on the forum aka "Bestiary"

In light of the Akbar 'situation' over at PCF we have finally kicked our 'Project Creatures' into high gear.
As many of you might know, Entropia Planets has wiki feeds on various forums displaying creature information (Next Island and Cyrene Forum), AUD information (Arkadia Forum) and Mission info (Rocktropia).

So far we had not really utilize that possibility on our own forum except for 1 or 2 little things.

So below you see the first attempt to get creature data on to the forum (call it beta) and we would like some feedback from the community. Please give it a second or 2 to load.





The idea is to have info card on the forum, with the basic info and a link to the wiki for the rest of the data. Is this the way to go, or do we need more data on the forum, or less. If more, what should be there?

 

Yes that's because of the major update we did last week and will be looked at, just wanted to wait for all the updates to be done, so we did not have to do it twice :), but that's no part of the creature thingy I wanna discuss here. So, any idea about that?

 

The idea behind this card was to get peoples attention (as anyone can add this card to their post) and link to the wiki for the other info

To add this card to your post put this in your post:

The Beladoth is so far the only one that works (the poor thing seems to be the guinea pig for all our tests) , so don't try other creatures yet :)

Below is what we have in the wiki for damage types and maturities and something we can get to the forum as well, either just the numbers or also the donut displaying the %



Loot could work, IF we had more people adding data to the wiki about that, as data is outdated pretty soon on that. We are working on a way to get that data into the wiki better, just not a 100% done yet.

The lag (or better the delay) you have is the info from the wiki that is displayed in the first post. It takes a few seconds for that to get to the forum.

So what you can do is either have the card or the sheet in a post, but of course you can also have both for the full info in a creature.

The beauty of this system is that anyone can edit the data, just by editing the wiki, so if things change during the holiday of the OP there is no reason to panic and all is still up to date :)

 

It depends on the purpose I guess. I mean if you would make a thread about a event where people can hunt some creature on your land area and want to show which one's are there, the card would be enough.

 

@Nor Alien I still would like the Card to have little info and move the attack types to the sheet, as that would make the card a lot bigger then I would like. If more info is needed/wanted, you can always use both in the same post.

BUT, don't get me wrong I like the comment and I will take that into consideration. Need to figure out a good balance between size and info on the card.
