As long as they can keep the quest system on a decent level and not turn the Universe into WoW (just to take one of many examples), then it's fine with me. It could help newbies to boost up their levels and knowledge in game. If it is little quests you can take just for fun and do not HAVE to ally you with God and the next person, but you will recieve a little something when finishing them - then it's also fine with me. But if it's gonna be like 'you need to finish up this and that' before 'reaching this and that' kind of stuff, then I'm definitely out :( because that is exactly what I dislike in a lot of other games. Having another game where you have to run around to finish up tasks all the time is, to me, just another stress factor I don't need. Anyway, it is interesting to see if they came up with something new compared to other games :p
I welcome quests/missions to add another dimension to the "game." But I hope that quests will not become necessary to increase our skills -- they should be (IMHO) a separate and optional track.
Must say that the Quests Nighthawk made on EF are pretty fun to do, so if somehow they do something along that line that would be Ok with me. http://www.entropiaforum.com/forums/events/123728-quest-listings.html I think quest like 'kill 100 Argonauts' or 'find 500 papplon' can be OK and even fun to do. And even finding all the TP's can be a quest. And I think if we give it a shot here we can come up with a nice list. I do hope they keep in mind the age of the people playing this game and not make a lot of childish guests.
My guess is that it will be user made quests, probably only available on LA's. Something similar to what people do now with "get 5 globals on my LA, win 100 ped". Maybe.
