Is your current EF sig the original or the censored one?

Did they give a reason why he/she thought the signature needed changing?

    What was your signature?

There is nothing wrong with Patriotism!

I understand that there are lots of people out there that hate the usa, but that is no reason for them to censor us.

If this is the entire story, then it really irks me.

it is blatantly political, but then why hasnt it been picked up before? more importantly, who cares, either leave it or remove it, dont whine about it.

Quite frankly, sometimes when we (the mods) see things that may be technically against a rule, we don't bother unless reports come in about it. And recently reports did come in. That we didn't ask to have it adjusted before doesn't mean we can't change our minds.

Yes, sometimes it's a judgment call. You might be surprised how often we get reports of excessive complaining or some thing but we allow the discussion to continue. It's not our mission to squash speech, just try to keep things civil.

Justin told me he wouldn't change his sig unless HW was punished for some infraction that was completely unrelated. So I changed his signature for him.

If you disagree with the modding I do, too bad, but coming to another forum to complain don't bother me. I'll come right over and explain my side of things.

You mean this one where someone asked if that thread was against the rules, and in a too-long worded post, I basically said no, it wasn't, and everyone jumped my case anyway?

I disagree with pretty much any moderation since moderation itself shows someone is too butthurt about some random crap and can't let it go

Actually, I won't deny that someone may simply be reporting your sig as an attack on you. That may be, I don't know. Still...

First, I have zero connections with HW at all.
Second, I did reply to your PM.
Third, I have not posted any quotes at all. Or do you mean the ultimatum you gave me was not for the public? What part was I inaccurate about?

I can understand that. Personally, I don't like to remove information. I just want folks to abide by the rules and play nice, even when they're disagreeing.
